Whether you're already passionate about tea or just starting your journey, Buzhichun is the perfect place to stay in Wuyishan — a city deeply rooted in tea culture. The room is spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed with minimalist touches. The natural colors and materials create a calming atmosphere that feels like home — perfect for slow living. The bathroom is large, spotless, and well-equipped with amenities. I especially loved the beautiful natural light in the room. On the ground floor, there’s a vibrant tea shop where young locals drop by, creating a lively atmosphere. You'll find historical exhibitions and curated objects that offer insight into both Wuyishan and the rich heritage of Chinese tea. And don’t miss meeting Xiaobai, the friendly resident dog who’s always happy to greet guests. The 6th floor features a cozy tatami-style common room, complete with a go board and a tea table overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views — an ideal place to unwind. What truly sets this place apart is the host and the staff. They’re warm, welcoming, and always ready to share tea with you — each time you return from a walk or come downstairs. I stayed two nights and tried at least 6–7 different kinds of Wuyishan tea. Even as a solo traveler and a foreigner, I felt included in conversations and easily connected with other guests. Pro tip: If you know a bit of Chinese, it’ll help you dive deeper into the stories behind the place. But even if you don’t, the language of tea will still make you feel at home.
