Broome Park Hotel

Lodges in nice wooded setting. Peaceful and despite the trees still had the sun shining thru. Was there at a warm spell no fans or any other cooling devices so lucky we had our own. Also there didn’t seem to be a phone to call reception but otherwise well equipped lodge and plan to stay a bit longer next time to fully enjoy the location and lodge.

This hotel is sooooo nice! We got a lodge and it was clean and beautiful. The staff was so nice and they let us play snooker and enjoy the premises.

My family and I stayed for a memorable week with my elderly mum in the accessible lodge. Our entire stay was amazing. The setting and gardens were ideal. We had a lovely breakfast in the hotel each day which lessened the amount of meals needed in the lodge. I found the staff so warm and helpful. There was an issue I see in other reviews about the Wi-Fi and tv out of action during our stay which it was for a night or two but we always have Uno with us and even adults can play uno or go to the lovely hotel bar for a drink. Blips like this can happen anywhere. The pool did reopen during our stay but alas we were so busy we didn’t use it. The walks around the hotel were so nice even a field full of dasies. The wedding day was dry but cold for the time of year. I have to say thank you so much to all the staff involved on the day and during our stay. Well done. We have lovely photos and memories to remind us of a great day and this hotel ticked all the boxes for our daughters wedding.

We had a great stay in the lodges except for a few minor setbacks however Pete Farrow the manager made us feel very welcome and sorted out any issues we had immediately! What a great asset Broome Park Hotel has. We will definitely be visiting again!

My partner and I stayed at broome park hotel for one night. The hotel is beautiful inside and out plus we had the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. There’s the option too have fresh milk delivered too your room in the morning so you can make tea/coffee which was a nice touch. Alongside home made cookies! Only minor issue was we found around 20-30 ladybugs inside the room around the window pane. Plus we were woken up at 8:30am on a Saturday morning by what sounded like a drill. But do not let that put you off staying as it was such a lovely hotel. We will definitely be back too stay again :)

We stayed at Broome Park for a family wedding and were very impressed. We stayed in the Charles III room which was spacious and spotlessly clean. There were complimentary items from local suppliers including gin! The bed was so comfy and we had a lovely view from the bedroom window.

We stayed in one of the lodges, very comfortable and a super comfy bed. It had all the necessary equipment for a self-catering stay. However, there were a few issues. There was no internet in the lodges and therefore no TV (all the TVs in the lodges work off the internet). Really disappointing as it was a rainy night and we just wanted to chill out in our room. But the worst thing was that we weren’t told this at check-in when we paid for the stay. It was only when I rang reception to query the TV not working that they said it’s all down. Very poor in my view - if they’d told us when we arrived to check in we could have made other arrangements. Shower was not very powerful and made a loud noise. Some of the staff were less than helpful - one female member of staff invited us to check in with her (we’d already checked in by that time) but when we asked her about the TV/Internet she said we’d have to ask at main reception as she didnt know anything about it and was ‘mainly on the catering side’. To be fair to the hotel, they did knock a small amount off the room cost to reflect the TV issues - but still unforgivable in my view not to tell people this at check-in and wait until they ask about it. Also we were told to park in the space allocated to our lodge - but someone was already you parked in it and none of the other lodge spaces were free. So we had no choice but to park in the ‘no parking’ turning circle.
