We recently hosted our Christmas corporate lunch for our teams, clients, and professionals, at Barns at Redcoats and it was absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, everything felt effortless and professional. The team went above and beyond to accommodate every one of our wishes, and the venue was perfect—beautifully presented and ideal for such an important occasion. The service was exceptional, making the entire event smooth and enjoyable for everyone. We couldn’t have been happier and are already looking forward to returning in the summer of 2026. Highly recommended for anyone planning a corporate event or special celebration!

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. We had booked for two but had a change of circumstances & added an additional night whilst there. The first room we had was lovely, very big & nicely decorated etc, the only down side was a strange smell. The second room was in the Barn & again was lovely, beautiful appointed however it turned out the central air con unit grate was located inside the room ! It was unbearably noisy, there was also a bright green light beside it both were on all night & it wasn’t able for them to be turned off. These two things made it impossible to sleep. It’s a great shame because overall the hotel is great & we had two excellent meals, one in the restaurant the other in the bar area. I would recommend the hotel to other though would advise to avoid room 36 if you want to sleep.

My boyfriend and I visited Redcoats for a date night and were absolutely blown away by both the food and the service. Our waitress, Poppy, was fantastic – she knew the menu inside out, answered all of our questions with ease, and had such a warm, friendly personality. She was attentive throughout the evening and even went above and beyond by surprising us with a ‘congratulations’ dessert after I mentioned I’d recently passed my theory test – such a thoughtful touch! I opted for the ribeye, which was hands down the best steak I’ve ever eaten – perfectly cooked and melt-in-the-mouth delicious. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse which was rich, velvety, and indulgent without being too heavy. I honestly couldn’t recommend Redcoats enough. From start to finish, it was a flawless experience and we’ll most definitely be returning!

We have just had our amazing day at Redcoats and could not recommend more highly. From booking until the big day everyone (especially Charlie B) were so helpful and accommodating. We did a few things they hadn't done before and they were always so helpful in making things work. The food and drink were incredible (we opted for BBQ), the service was fantastic and it was so great that guests could stay on site so that we could have breakfast together the next day. We used a lot of their recommended suppliers who were also amazing. We have had so many compliments and are so happy that we had our big day at Redcoats. We just wish we could do it all again!

The staff at the venue were incredible, no request was too big or small and Megan who we worked with was always on hand with a smile to help us in any way we needed. She guided us when we’d missed steps and the whole team on the day worked incredibly hard to ensure our day went to plan. The accommodation is beautiful, and the food could not be better! Would highly recommend.

My 3rd afternoon tea at Redcoats. A beautiful converted farmhouse with a lovely and well planted garden area. Plenty of parking, friendly staff and delicious afternoon tea. The very pleasant interior is tastefully decorated with numerous interesting and quirky ornaments. The history of the farmhouse is suggested by the antique farm equipment decoratively placed around the property.

The Barns at Redcoats was simply the best wedding venue. We knew it was the venue for us from the first visit to one of the open days. And it more than lived up to our expectations. Charlie and her team went above and beyond to ensure our special day went without a hitch. Before the wedding, Charlie responded quickly to any emails, and invited us in for coffee whenever we had any questions and concerns ahead of our special day. She also arranged for a second wedding breakfast tasting after a couple of mishaps at the first tasting. We couldn’t have wished for a better wedding coordinator 😊 On the day, the venue was absolutely beautiful, our suppliers were all dealt with by the team so we didn’t need to worry about a thing, and the canapés and wedding breakfast were fantastic. And our guests had the best time. It was also great that all our day guests could also stay at the venue overnight for a reasonable price. If you want a barns wedding venue, look nowhere else!
