We arrived at the hotel late at night. The female staff member took good care of us. The room was clean. There was a slight cigarette smell in the hallways, but it wasn't a problem inside the room. The windows could be opened, and the air conditioning worked well in both hot and cold weather. Across from the hotel is a supermarket selling food, toiletries, and souvenirs at very cheap prices, and there are many noodle shops around the hotel. There's a bus stop for traveling to tourist attractions, and a metro station is nearby, about 700 meters away. The breakfast options were limited, but that wasn't a problem as we could find plenty of food around the hotel. There's even a 24-hour noodle shop right next to the hotel.

Even after a long stay, I never felt stuffy. The spacious desk easily accommodated my computer, documents, and snacks, making it incredibly convenient for remote work. The air conditioning can be set on a timer, making sleeping comfortable and energy-efficient. The bathroom drains flawlessly, and I've never experienced any stagnant water or odors during my entire stay. This has made my daily routine much better. The cleaning lady, understanding my high standards for hygiene, made a point of cleaning my work area daily, keeping both the desk and floor spotless.

It wasn't until the third day of breakfast that we realized the empty plate was actually for fruit. We found out because a waitress gave a bowl of fruit to a man dining there, and another male guest nearby asked for fruit as well. Only then was the empty plate replaced. That evening, we contacted the hotel to report the issue, and they responded that they would correct it. The next morning, when we went to eat there, the three of us were pointed at and gossiped about by the restaurant staff, who said it was because of our complaint. We had a very unpleasant breakfast. Back in Taiwan, we plan to complain to the booking platform.

I have no idea how this hotel got such good reviews!
The rooms, hallways, and lobby were filled with the smell of cigarette smoke! On my floor, an elderly man would leave his room door open day and night, constantly puffing away! 😤 The front desk staff were incredibly indifferent and unhelpful.
This was truly the worst accommodation experience I've ever had during my trip!
I will never book a Home Inn hotel again!
