Tingting Guesthouse (Xi'an Huimin Street Guangji Street)

Excellent location for those seeking an authentic stay in X’ian’s Muslim quarter. Host could not be more helpful and kind. Helped us wash our clothes and provided free water and room service each day. The location can be hard to find in the busy streets but its excellent if you are looking for adventure.

The staff was very lovely and helpful, even without speaking English. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had access to an (old but functioning) washing machine, which was very helpful. The location is great, right inside the Muslim Quarter but in a quieter area. It’s still convenient, with about a 5-minute walk to reach a Didi or the metro. However, both rooms we saw faced a light well rather than having an actual view. The main difference was the floor level, the room on the 2nd floor was significantly darker than the one we moved to, despite looking similar in the photos online. We would have been quite disappointed if we hadn’t been able to change rooms. Thankfully, the staff accommodated our request, which made the stay much more comfortable. It might be worth clarifying this in the listing to better manage expectations.

The location was perfect, just a few steps from the Muslim Market. I was a little lost at first, but the hotel host sent someone to pick me up and help with my luggage.

We loved our stay at Tingting, it was central to the Muslim quarter in Xi’an which was a huge plus for us as it’s an extremely lively region. They were very hospitable, very kind, and very helpful in helping us in our first time visiting China. The room was clean and warm, bathroom was clean and large as well, just make sure to pick the right room. While it is a bit inside the streets of the Muslim quarter, they have signs leading up to their stay and they also are more than happy to assist you in finding the stay. Even if it was 4 am like us lol. Definitely worth checking out if you’re staying in xi’an.

Perfect location. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The owner is nice and will talk to you through a translation device. Services of the structures are not working properly: hair dryer stops working for over temperature every time, the shower does not drain properly and the washing machine is terribly old. Good spot for the price and the location but be mindful when booking.
