This garden-style sea-view villa boasts an excellent location, offering a tranquil escape while being just under 200 meters from Sanqiutian Wharf. The hotel also features a rooftop viewing platform. We received full butler service, with a very enthusiastic young man. He contacted us on WeChat beforehand to provide directions to the island and even turned on the air conditioning for us. Upon arrival, he proactively introduced local attractions and suggested touring routes. The room was clean, tidy, simply furnished, well-arranged, and cozy. Next time I visit Gulangyu, I'll definitely choose this place again. May everyone create wonderful memories on Gulangyu!

The hotel is conveniently located a short 7km drive from Xiamen Railway Station. Seeing Xiamen's sights from this hotel is easy with Hai Tian Tang Gou Mansion, World Architecture Expo and Yu Garden all close by. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

Looking to the left, there is the sea and the Twin Towers landmark on the opposite bank of Xiamen Island. To the right, there is the GuLangYu landmark Sunlight Rock. The view is level with the dignity of Trinity Church, located in such a unique and rich island setting. A truly satisfying stay! The hotel, a charming century-old house, is nestled right next to Bagua Tower, offering an elegant and peaceful ambiance. The lush greenery in the courtyard, the gentle gurgle of the small fountain, and the interior layout and furnishings all perfectly complement the historic building. The highlight is definitely the small viewing platform on the third-floor terrace, which offers breathtaking panoramic views. The lights across the water and the cruise ships at sea are clearly visible, the vermilion dome of Bagua Tower feels incredibly close, and behind it, the dark silhouette of Sunlight Rock stands tall. It's also very close to the Longtou Road snack street. The three receptionists and the auntie were incredibly warm and attentive; they even upgraded my room for free on the morning of my arrival. The hotel also provides breakfast for guests. The only minor downsides were the lack of a power outlet on the bar counter, meaning I had to boil water by the bedside table, and the washbasin being a bit small, likely to fit the overall layout. These are just minor details, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Gulangyu.

I initially booked three nights, and after checking in, I extended my stay by another two nights, which clearly shows how satisfied I was with Anmo. Traveling with my family, the hotel butler contacted us in advance to explain how to book ferry tickets and where to drop off our luggage. Anmo truly stands out as one of the top one or two hotels we've ever stayed in for its genuine warmth and hospitality. During our stay, our male and female butlers, as well as the housekeeping staff, always greeted us with smiles, whether inside or outside the hotel. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating to our needs, showing great thoughtfulness. The hotel's location is extremely convenient. Using the coffee shop on the left side of the hotel entrance as a reference point, to the left you'll find Bagua Building, the 'Most Beautiful Corner,' and Sanqiutian Pier. To the right, down the slope, there's a street with various snacks that leads to the central attractions. Directly to the right of the hotel entrance, heading down past Gulangyu No. 2 Middle School, you'll reach Trinity Church, Fampo Building, and Bishan Cave. It's incredibly well-connected and easy to navigate. The hotel breakfast offered variety daily. The public area always had eggs, small buns, fruit, soy milk, black tea, watermelon juice, and coffee. One day, I had cucumber juice, which was wonderfully refreshing! Afternoon tea was prepared quickly after informing the butler. We would return to the hotel every afternoon to rest and relax for a bit before heading out again in the evening, which kept us from feeling tired. Haha, I've probably said a bit too much, but I hope this gives other guests considering Anmo a simple introduction. If I ever visit Gulangyu again, I'll definitely return to Anmo. And if friends plan a trip to Gulangyu, I will certainly recommend Anmo. Seeing the children going to and from school in the mornings and evenings gives you a sense of real life – it's like traveling while also experiencing daily life in a different place!
