Service: Excellent service! The room had a strong glue smell, and they immediately moved us to another room. Environment: Beautiful.

The property is located near Train Line 1 at Zhenhai Road Station, about a 3–5 minute walk away. Please note there is a steep road with uphill and downhill sections. A 3-minute walk will take you to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and Zhonghua City. The Eighth Market (Bashi) is about a 15–20 minute walk from the hotel. Staff and service: The front desk staffs and cleaning aunties are friendly and helpful. However, I noticed that the aunties in the breakfast restaurant tend to chat a lot among themselves and only attend to guests when someone asks for something. I preferred a window room, but just be aware that you can hear the restaurants across the road shouting to attract customers, (p/s: the front desk staff has highlighted it during check-in). When the street is less crowded, you can even hear the ”Alipay payment received” announcement (”Zhifubao daozhang”). The water temperature was not hot enough on my last day stay, not too sure why. Overall is ok.

This time I stayed at Home Inn, which was really nice! The front desk staff was very enthusiastic, and they checked me in quickly. They also took the initiative to introduce me to fun and delicious places around. The room environment looked very comfortable, with good lighting and warm layout. The facilities were all quite new, the TV and air conditioner were very smooth to use, and there were smart devices, which were very convenient. There was nothing to say about the hygiene. The sheets and quilt covers were clean, and there was no odor in the bathroom. I felt very safe staying there, and I will come again next time!

The location is great, right outside are bus stops and subway stations, very convenient. The young man with glasses at check-in and the young man without glasses when I picked up my luggage were both very enthusiastic and provided excellent service.

The room is small, and the bathroom is also a bit small. Maybe this is a characteristic of Home Inn, but it is still relatively clean and the service is relatively good. If you don't have too many requirements for space, it's OK

This hotel wasn't mind-blowing, but its central location was pretty good. It was convenient to get to all the attractions by bus or taxi, and not far from Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street subway station. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the service was decent, nothing particularly outstanding. What truly made it stand out was its impeccable location, with an amazing concentration of nearby attractions. A ten-minute walk to the left of the hotel brings you to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. To the right is Shapowei, full of interesting little shops. From the hotel, it's about a ten-minute taxi ride to the ferry terminal, and then a short boat ride to Gulangyu Island. You can wander through the 'Piano Island' and admire the international architecture. You should set aside half a day or even a full day for Gulangyu; if you have more time, you can definitely spend it there. You'll be doing a lot of walking on the island, probably 10,000 to 20,000 steps in a day. Walking further left, you'll find Nanputuo Temple and Xiamen University right next to each other, about a ten-minute walk away. Xiamen University requires advance booking, but you can enter Nanputuo Temple by scanning a QR code at the entrance. You can even enjoy a bowl of vegetarian noodles inside. Xiamen University, often called the most beautiful campus, is worth a visit with kids to soak in the university atmosphere. There's also the Xiamen Botanical Garden; the misty, ethereal Rainforest World is great for photos, and the tropical plant sections offer plenty of picturesque spots. Baicheng Beach and Huangcuo Beach are only about ten minutes away. Overall, if your main goal is to explore all of Xiamen's core attractions, choosing this hotel for its convenient location is absolutely perfect. It's also quite close to Xiamen Railway Station, about a ten-minute drive if traffic isn't bad. Xiamen North Station is further away, possibly a 30-minute taxi ride.

Facilities: There is a gym, laundry room, microwave oven, public toilet. The facilities are relatively complete and it is very convenient to travel on business. Hygienic: very clean and tidy, no smell. Environment: The surrounding environment is general, and travel is very convenient. I came to Xiamen for an exam and stayed for 3 days. The room I stayed in was not facing the street, so it was very quiet at night. The overall environment of the hotel was very good, the room facilities were relatively new, and the hygiene was also good. I drank several flavors of tea bags provided in the room, including black tea, white tea, and calming tea, all of which were very good. The laundry room on the first floor had an ironing machine and provided laundry detergent, which felt very good. In addition, the service attitude of the staff here was very good! The security guard at the door, the front desk staff, and the cleaning lady in the room were all very polite! I have stayed in many hotels, and this time the experience given by Home Inn was the best~(^-^)

I was visiting a friend who studies at Xiamen University. The hotel is great. Friendly staff. Excellent rooms. One small weakness was the shower which is not cold, but also not very hot. It is not a serious problem, but a hot shower is nice in winter time. Still, I would definitely stay here again. The location near XMU is perfect, the rooms are luxurious, an incredible value at this price. The staff are also extremely helpful. This hotel is my little home in Xiamen.
