Gulangyu Lanting Homestay

I was on a whirlwind weekend trip, and my flight was delayed, so I arrived in the early hours. I really appreciate the owner waiting up for me and keeping track of where I was. I finally got to the hotel after 2 AM. When I opened the room, I was quite pleased; it looked just like the pictures, which was a relief after seeing so many misleading ads, haha. The room had a bathtub, and the hotel provided a bath liner, which was a lifesaver after walking 30,000+ steps that day. The bed and pillows were comfy – I practically fell into a coma when I lay down! The smart home features were great too, and the toilet was fantastic 🤣. Opening the window, you see greenery, and I woke up to the sounds of tourists passing by in the morning. Time just seemed to slow down there~

The hotel is a bit far from the pier but very close to the beach. The room size is quite spacious for Gulangyu, and it offers excellent value for money. My child was very happy.

The room is very clean, the children can watch the projection, and the beach is only two minutes away. We dug sand for a long time. The sand digging tools of the B&B are free to use. The guy at the front desk also introduced delicious places to eat. The experience was very good!

For a person who is mysophobic, the room is very big and clean. There is also bread and milk in the room. The main reason is that the boss is super nice. He recommends routes and food. When he gets to the next stop, he sends a WeChat message to ask if he has arrived safely. The boss is super handsome! Haha, just a few minutes walk to Dade Kee Beach where you can watch the sunrise. Highly recommended!

😎 I just came back from that awesome island B&B, and I can’t wait to share my experience. 🌟Location: The B&B is in a great location on the island, just steps away from the beach. Every morning, I am gently awakened by the sound of the waves. When I open the curtains, I can see the blue sea and golden beach, as if I am in a natural picture. 🏠Room: The rooms are very warm and distinctive. The wooden furniture exudes a light fragrance, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, just like sleeping on a cloud. There is also a small balcony in the room, with two wicker chairs and a small coffee table. It is very comfortable to sit there at night and enjoy the sea breeze and drink wine. 🧼Hygiene: This must be praised 👍 The entire B&B is spotlessly clean, no dust or stains can be seen in the rooms, bathrooms or public areas. The sheets and quilts are frequently changed and cleaned, and there is no odor in the bathroom. The towels are white and soft, which makes people feel very at ease. 💁♂️Service: The service staff here are like family. From the time we booked the B&B, they have been providing us with all kinds of useful information, such as the most convenient way to get to the island and what interesting places there are on the island. After arriving at the B&B, they greeted us warmly and helped us carry our luggage. During our stay, they were always responsive and helpful whenever we had any needs. All in all, the B&B on this island is a great experience and I highly recommend it to friends who want to go on an island vacation. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the island and feel the warmth of home.
