The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The guesthouse itself has a really warm and cozy vibe. The common area in the lobby is great for sitting with friends, grabbing a bite, and chatting, with A/C and tea available, which was lovely. The hotel's location is also excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere. I was a bit worried about potential noise issues from reading other reviews, but I stayed for two nights and wasn't disturbed at all – I slept really well. The twin room was a good size, not too big and not too small, just right. Overall, my experience was really nice.

Coming to Xiamen with my family of three, choosing Yidu Chaosu was an incredibly smart decision! The guesthouse is very close to Zhongshan Road and Bashi Market, making it super convenient for sightseeing and dining. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area; once you close the room door, it's completely silent, so our child's nap was undisturbed. The room is spacious and tidy, with meticulous cleaning. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom, with its wet/dry separation, is clean and bright. The owner clearly understands families with children, thoughtfully providing kids' toiletries. The front desk staff are friendly and responsive to requests. The rooftop terrace offers a great view, and the public laundry room with a dryer saved us a lot of hassle when traveling with a child. The overall decor is refined and cozy, with complete amenities and excellent value for money. Highly recommend for family trips; we'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Xiamen!

The room was very neat and clean, spacious enough for me and my two kids to sleep comfortably. However, there were a couple of things I wasn't happy about. The bathroom had no place to put clothes, which was a bit awkward; I had to go to the toilet area to get dressed after showering. Also, water collected quite a bit around the edge of the sink, making it easy to get clothes wet. Everything else was fine, but I hope these two points can be improved.

The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and all the facilities are smart and well-equipped. The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful, providing local food and travel tips in advance. Plus, you can grab complimentary bug spray and use the self-service laundry and dryer. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the courtyard and tea room offer comfortable spaces to relax. Every detail is carefully considered, and the value for money is outstanding. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen, highly recommend!

I'm a very light sleeper, so I was worried about sleeping soundly facing the street, but the soundproofing was surprisingly good. The zero-pressure pillow was so soft and supportive; I slept like a baby until morning. So comfortable!

Had a great two-night stay here. My room on the first floor was super convenient since I didn't have to lug my bags up any stairs, and even though it was on the ground floor, it had good natural light. The bathroom was well-designed with a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water came on quickly. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Yi Du Chao Su was definitely the most satisfying accommodation during my trip to Xiamen. It's an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle, with vibrant local Minnan life just outside your door, yet peace and relaxation instantly greet you back at the guesthouse. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the cleanliness is impeccable, with high-quality toiletries showing great attention to detail. The sunset from the rooftop terrace is absolutely stunning, and they have a public tea room and a shared kitchen, which is really convenient. The staff are warm and patient, and the value for money far exceeds other guesthouses in the same area. Highly recommended!
