Joyze Hotel Xiamen，Curio Collection by Hilton

This was my first stay at this hotel, and I was lucky to have great weather, making the overall experience very satisfying. The hotel is quite new, with a prominent design aesthetic, and both the public areas and rooms are well-maintained. The front desk and staff were all very friendly. On the day of my check-in, I happened to encounter Catherine at the front desk on her first day back from vacation. Communication was smooth, and she proactively introduced the hotel's facilities and restaurant operating hours. Her service was meticulous and thoughtful, which made me feel very comfortable. The hotel is close to the beach, making it convenient for walks or enjoying the sea view. The restaurant is spacious with a wide variety of food options, and the overall quality is consistently good. The room was very comfortable, and the heating was excellent, which was a huge bonus during winter in Xiamen. Bathing was very relaxing; even in winter, I felt completely at ease. Overall, this hotel performs consistently well in both its facilities and service details. It's a hotel I'd definitely choose again and would be happy to revisit.

The so-called 'city view room' had no view at all. The room facilities were very old, and I didn't experience any of the highlights expected from the Hilton brand. Most importantly, the room was hot and stuffy, constantly at 25°C, and the air conditioning did absolutely nothing to cool it down. The breakfast selection was also mediocre. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel if you're expecting the Hilton brand experience.

Highly rated! The small cakes from HH were delicious, and the service was excellent. We had a very memorable anniversary. Comfortable bedding and a bathtub ✔️. I'll definitely stay here again! Price 💰: Great value for money. Location 🏠: Next to Huandao Road, near Zengcuo'an, and close to various scenic spots. Buses right outside the entrance can take you to most areas. The subway is still under construction, so those sensitive to noise might want to reconsider a mountain view room. Room 🛏: The room isn't particularly large. The bathtub was clean, though it didn't have a liner; bath salts were provided. The bed was very comfortable, neither too soft nor too hard. The welcome fruit tasted good. The biggest surprise was for our anniversary, they gave us a small anniversary cake. Though small, it was very thoughtful and excellent. Being on the top floor facing Baiyun Mountain offered a great view. The amenities were standard Hilton. The mineral water had the hotel's logo, much better than plain Aquafina. The minibar isn't free, but there's capsule coffee and good tea. The room was very clean, no issues, and I slept very comfortably. Service 👥: The service was very good. Front desk check-in was quite fast. Restaurant service was also excellent, though the speed of clearing tables could be improved, but everything else was outstanding. Special thanks to Leo for calling and chasing after us when we left something behind, even though we had already departed. We really appreciate it. Also, the housekeeping staff did a great job. The room was clean, and the towel swans folded for our anniversary were adorable. Thank you for your hard work. The only minor drawback was that the breakfast restaurant staff seemed a bit unfamiliar or confused, but the final outcome was fine, it just left us standing there for a moment feeling a bit lost. Food 🍽: Both breakfast and dinner were good, better than the Westin, and very fresh. Cold dishes were regularly replaced. The bread and pastries were excellent. There's a convenient 7-Eleven downstairs.

The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Zengcuo'an. There are plenty of food options nearby, and they have their own parking lot, which was very convenient since we drove. There are also direct buses right outside the entrance to the ferry terminal, Zhongshan Road, and the Eighth Market. The hotel environment is very good, and the front desk and concierge staff are all very warm and polite. The lady at the front desk was especially kind and helped me upgrade my room type. My stay was a fantastic experience.
