(foreigner review) My cousin and I stayed overnight because we had a layover in Xiamen. Honestly, it was a lot better than we expected. The price was cheap and the room was clean and big. Also, the smell of cigarettes wasn’t as strong as we thought it’d be. Thought there was a problem with the sink but they close the drains so you have to push it open. Although the smell of cigarettes wasn’t as strong as we thought, through the night my cousin caught strong whiffs of smoke so she had to open the window (the windows have no mosquito net). The location isn’t too far from the airport and there’s a market nearby so if you need a place to stay for a layover I recommend this hotel. Don’t make the mistake of not getting cash before you leave the airport. They don’t accept card (not to my knowledge nor the places we visited) Otherwise you won’t be able to pay the driver (taxi) or eat anything.

Cheap place to stay near the airport. Location is in a low end neighborhood and the rooms are not super clean. Breakfast starts at 7 am, which is kind of weird as most people will stay here to catch an early flight.

It's my first time staying at Hanting Airport Hotel. I feel at home. The front desk lady, the room cleaning auntie, and the restaurant auntie are all very polite. The room is clean. There is free parking, lockers, and books in the lobby to read. If you are on a business trip to the surrounding area, it is the first hotel to choose from. It is worth promoting~

The hotel is great, cost-effective, clean and sanitary. I slept the best two days in Xiamen. The breakfast is also very rich, combining Chinese and Western food. I will book it again next time I go to Xiamen.

The location is not particularly convenient, but it is quiet in a busy city. It is also close to SM Plaza by taxi or bus. The staff is also easy to communicate with. It is very convenient to pick up packages and wash clothes (two washing machines and two dryers). The hotel has two buildings. The equipment in the ordinary rooms is a little older, but it is not exposed to the sun. The higher-end rooms are newly renovated but face the sun. It depends on personal choice.
