I've stayed here twice, once through Huazhu and once through Trip.com. Overall, it's a great hotel for layovers. The Orange and Mercure hotels here share a breakfast area, and the breakfast spread is extensive and tasty. The service is also excellent. I'd definitely choose this hotel again for a layover, it offers great value for money.

This hotel is great!!! It's very clean and new, with a lovely faint orange scent. We initially arrived in Xi'an in the middle of the night and were assigned to the free Royal Dragon by the airport transfer service. However, the rooms at Royal Dragon were so dilapidated it was unbelievable – a truly shocking sight! We couldn't even bring ourselves to step inside. So, we immediately found Orange Hotel on Trip.com, booked a room, and took a taxi straight there. The guy at the front desk was super nice. We arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning, and he helped us arrange an airport transfer for the next day. I'd definitely recommend booking Orange Hotel yourself for transfers; the price is very reasonable. Otherwise, going to Royal Dragon would have been a nightmare.
