It was hard to find the entrance by car, as the hotel feels like it's tucked away in a residential complex. The facilities inside are quite old, having an antiquated yet structured feel. Although there are charging stations in the parking lot, they weren't functional. Overall, the experience was just okay. It's not particularly close to 'San Pang' (assuming this is a specific location or landmark), basically a distance that's too far to walk comfortably but too short to really justify a taxi ride.

Nice hotel that probably used to be grand but has aged a bit. Rooms are ok but heating is a bit weak so nights are cold.
Staff is nice but can speak virtually no English. We could make each other understood anyway!

The hotel decoration is not very new, nevetheless, good quality and good service, huge rooms with huge bathroom. I really like the complimental fruit plate that the hotel provides every day. Big selection for breakfast, though Chinese style mostly.

In need of a refurb. Once more - air conditioner was not individualized to the room, but a single 25 degrees for the entire hotel. Luckily the window could be opened. In its day I am sure it was grand - but she is getting a little tired and dated. Breakfast was solid 7 out of 10.

Not even half a star! Terrible!!! Extremely Terrible! I booked this one because I'd stayed at other Kaiyuan hotels in different cities before. Being old is one thing, but the worst part is how filthy it was!!! Dust everywhere, so dirty you couldn't even step in it. The water from the tap was initially yellow mud (I don't understand why). The whole room was filthy, not even worth 100 yuan. The breakfast was terrible too!!! Extremely Terrible!!! I would warn anyone against staying here.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I frequently travel for business and stay in hotels, and this time I really couldn't take it anymore.
