The hotel seems a bit old, but it is well-equipped with facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness room, and laundry room. It is located right next to the Pacific Ocean and has a great view. The rooms are very spacious and the staff are friendly.

View was the best part of the stay. Bed was too hard. Not enough outlets. Lobby remodel is very nice but maybe other areas could have used the $$. Room prices were fair but the food prices were outrageously high. We ate one meal there and went elsewhere for the rest. The staff - Excellent.

Wonderful place go stay on the beach. We brought our dogs and the pet friendly rooms are perfect and have a view of the ocean. Some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. The bed was comfy and so were the sheets. We loved the walking path along the front of the property too. Highly recommend!

We've always loved this iconic place but the new changes and remodel make it even better! Nicest staff, wonderful food, fabulous walking trail along the bluffs. Great showers and all around service make it a fabulous experience for a stay in lovely Yachats. .

I called the night before coming over & ended up with room 317! AMAZING ROOM! Looked newly remodeled & very spacious. Everything was FABULOUS except the Sunday night bartender. I was going to order a drink while I waited for 2 bowls of chowder to take to the room. In a snotty voice she said she had 21 drink orders & would not have time. I did not get a drink, and had to flag down a waitress that heard the bartender & ordered my chowder from her. Leaving me standing & waiting for my order :(

A few things I would like to see corrected. One, there is no instructions for turning on the fire place. Two, need more electrical outlets for charging phone, C PAP, and such. Maybe a USB hub. Three, the plugs in our room are worn out. Plugs would barely stay in the plug. We had to wiggle the plug on the coffee make to get power to it. Four, the faucet in the bathroom has the hot and cold reversed. Five, toilet is a little low for us senior citizens. Otherwise everything else was fine.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was a beautiful place to enjoy some quality family time and overlook the ocean. The property was remodeling when we arrived but our room was ship shape and well supplied!

I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I paid quite a bit of money and had a very disappointing experience. I got to the room and it was very cold and it took the heater a couple hours to get going . I called the front desk to ask for extra blankets, but they never arrived. There was just one blanket on the bed and no other blankets in the room. So I was cold for about half the night. Also this morning I got up and the coffee machine didn’t work. Of course, being right on the beach is quite spectacular. However, I don’t think I would return here.

Friendly staff. Ask for south room unless pets. They are a bit bigger. They have done some updates. Our room 277 seemed to only be partially done. Missing screen on window and missing picture on wall but could tell where used to be so maybe took down to paint? Bottom of bathroom door had paint over old water damage. Awesome view! Great surf light to watch waves crashing at night. Electric fire place provided great ambiance and would be great heat on winter evenings. Nice table for evening scrabble games. Pool and hottub were good.
