Comfort Suites Yakima

I made a mistake in booking a room, I did select a non-refundable rate. I did not notice it until I received an email from Comfort Inn asking about my stay. I immediately called Comfort Inn (in Yakima), I explained my error and asked if they could correct the reservation date, I was told this was a non-refundable room, I stated yes, however I’m not asking for a refund, I told I had to call Choice Privileges to see if they would make the requested change since “they” could not. I called and was told only the Property could make any changes/correction, and the person would email the Manager of the property. I called the Yakima Property and spoke with Jason, he was very nice professional. He stated the District Manager told him he would not do anything to assist me. The District Manager either is inept in his position, knows nothing about basic customer service, or just does not care about customers. This would have been my 3rd stay at this property this year, the District Manage had every right to keep the money since I was a “no-show”. I mentioned to Jason, by changing the reservation to the correct date, there is NO COST to the property, they will still get a nights revenue, however, by keeping the money, I have the right to NEVER use the property again. I will never use them. I will not reward inept, poor customer service or deal with people who do not care. Use this property with extreme caution.

The beds were very comfortable beds. The extras we asked for were in room upon arrival. A luggage stand would have been helpful. We had to leave early, so we were unable to have the breakfast. The room was narrow for the recommended 5 guest. We felt safe and the room was clean. We had a nice stay.

Great clean room good breakfast including eggs bacon or sausage depending it's changes everyday cereal baked goods and waffles, etc. Plus they serve free hot soup and fresh baked cookies in the evening. We always stay here when in town because of excellent staff.

Hotel is falling apart at the seems, many things broken and dirty

Friendly and professional staff at the front desk. We had a nice, clean room and comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast. Relaxed in the pool and the hot tub. We enjoyed our family stay together. Convenient location to stores and restaurants.

Tony at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. We didn't spend much time there, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and overall it was a great experience. We had a light fixture that needed to be fixed and they got someone there so quick it was surprising with how busy the hotel was.

The guy that checked us in was so kind and patient. The room was clean and comfortable. There were sufficient pillows and they were fluffy. The room smelled fresh. We had a fridge and a microwave. The towels were stocked up full. Really great experience.

Amazing stay! Everything was great. Very comfortable accommodations. The staff were gracious and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and warm. The afternoon soup and cookies were above and beyond.
