A very nice modern and luxurious hotel near the airport and the Black Sea; in fact, all rooms have a water view. The breakfast buffet has lots of options and there's a cook to make custom omelettes for a reasonable fee. The coffee wasn't very good, thank goodness for Nescafe.
The hotel does not serve dinner or drinks, and unfortunately it's in a restaurant desert. For good food you need to go into town by taxi (app 300 Tl in October 2023) or by minibus (16.5 TL). You can also drive your rental car if you are comfortable with limited parking.
The hotel has an elevator as it is 8 stories tall.
The hotel fronts a busy highway which makes getting to the sea a challenge, although there's a pedestrian bridge about 200 meters away.
As an added bonus, you can see down the runway at TZX and watch planes take off and fly over your head at about 500 feet during breakfast!

Kasım ayında konakladığımız mell otel tek kelime ile harikaydı. Otelin temizliği, konforu, ve özellikle kahvaltısı çok güzeldi. Antalya da yaşayıp oradaki en bilinen otellerde kalmış bir aile olarak kahvaltısı inanılmaz güzeldi. Trabzona geldiyseniz kesinlikle tercih etmelisiniz. Teşekkürler mell otel

Pros: The hotel is close to the airport. They have a nice breakfast. It’s clean. They speak English and are very helpful at the front desk. Cons: The walls are thin, the highway is in front of the hotel and it’s a bit noisy. Other than than it’s a very good hotel.
