I'd say the nicest hotel I've stayed in during my two weeks in Japan. The hotel is a 10min walk from the station. Rooms are comfortable and have enough room for luggage. On my last night I wanted to take advantage of the onsen. Two of the younger members of staff were hesitant to allow me access. They brought to my attention the on-site rules which highlight that it would be unsuitable for people with tattoos (I have several large visible ones) to use the onsen. I do not remember this being highlighted on the trip.com website, otherwise I would not have booked. However another female member of staff (presumably the manager) intervened and stated because I was from overseas it should not be a problem. I really did enjoy my time using the spring baths. ¥150 well spent. Thanks again to her 😊

There is a Chinese clerk at the front desk, the check-in procedure is more convenient and smooth, but it is not possible to meet every day. The hotel is very close to the station, has free wifi and free (Japanese) breakfast. Everything is very clean and orderly. The reception staff were especially helpful and friendly - Ms Haruna went way beyond the call of duty in contacting Japan Rail to help us retrieve a lost bag. I would definitely stay here again.
