There is a Lawson diagonally opposite the hotel, and it is very convenient to buy snacks. The hotel is less than one kilometer from Yuda Onsen JR Station, and there are various hand and foot baths nearby, within walking distance.

Located in the middle of Yamaguchi city, it was great to explore Yamaguchi. Breakfast was also very clean in Japanese home style. It was very convenient to rent a bicycle for free.

The room is relatively relaxing and WIFI complete, but it is a pity that it is not a washlet. After that, it was an ordinary business hotel. It was a cheap hotel with breakfast at less than 5000 yen.

Breakfast was usually from 6:30 and I gave up not to eat, but when I checked in, I was told that I would open from 6 o'clock tomorrow and I was able to receive it. Because breakfast was free, I didn't expect it, but it was very delicious. The staff also answered me very politely. The room is simple, easy to use and I would like to use it again.

The building seems to be quite aging, and the facility itself is not a hotel, but a very convenient hotel for training and students to stay in a group. The staff have a local goodness, and I don't want a sophisticated hotel treatment, but I can feel good honesty. If you can't use it even if you have a breakfast ticket because the breakfast business time is late, you can take out sandwiches and orange juice at the front desk. I was happy because it was very rare to have such a service. The difficulty is that the smell of the corridor on the room floor is amazing because of the old facilities. It smells like a locker in a sweaty room. I think the room is probably old style, not the standard after the 90s. I always feel humid, and I don't have a sheet or a towel. The most worrying thing was whether it was a sprinkler or a smoke detector, but it was rusty and it was working in an emergency. I thought I wouldn't be caught in the fire inspection.

　When you get off the Shinkansen at Shin-Yamaguchi and exit the Shinkansen exit, the Shinkansen exit of Toyoko Inn Shin-Yamaguchi Station, which is the place to stay on this day, is located nearby. The familiar Toyoko sign is very noticeable above the hotel, so anyone can easily see it. From the Shinkansen exit, I crossed the pedestrian crossing with a signal and arrived in １ minutes on foot. It is not a luxurious hotel because it is Toyoko Inn. But the building is bright, clean and kept clean. I was happy with the free breakfast, and the staff responded quickly and I liked it.

I forgot the converter adapter from AC to USB only by the mobile charging cable and went on a trip to ”youth １８”. I was happy to lend an adapter. The front desk was also very good. We also proposed a morning walk course. We went to the top of a small hill where we turned right at the end of the city hall. The city of Hofu was overlooked. SL was also exhibited on the way to the station. I was able to experience the fun of the trip and it became a good day start. Next time I want to bring my wife.

I stayed in a single room for 6 nights for my second stay following February of this year. The hotel has 5 floors and is a 15-minute walk from the south exit of Hofu Station (Aeon side). There is also a banquet hall, dining room and wedding hall. The elevator is in front of the front desk, the number of rooms is small and the security level is high. The interior of the hotel is gorgeous, and the greenery and flowers around the entrance (car) welcome you. The breakfast hall is closed due to the corona. Single (15㎡ 21 rooms) is on the north side where you can see the direction of Hofu Station, and twins (31㎡ 8 rooms, renewed) are on the south side where you can see the greenery of Kuwanoyama Park. There is no safe and there is a wardrobe with a door. Slippers are washed and recycled. Pajamas are a dress that can be tied with a string. On the north side, Hofu police station, Hofu City Hall, Hofu summary court, Hofu City Youth Science Museum, and the south side can be enjoyed to the top of the mountain (107 meters above sea level) at the Kuwayama Park. At Dairakuji Temple on the northwest side of Prefectural Hofu High School at the eastern foot of Kuwayama Park, there is a grave of Fumi Sugi (the younger sister of Shoin Yoshida) and her husband Motohiko Tori, the main character of the NHK taiga drama ”Hanamoyu”. In front of Shizuka Ijuin, a Naoki Prize writer from Hofu High School. His wife, Masako Natsume, is also sleeping.

Rooms were clean and decently sized for 2 adults. Great stop for one night before continuing on our trip. Staff at the front desk was super helpful and spoke great english!

The hot spring pool in Hagimotojin is interestingly designed. It is fun to soak in a circle of indoor, outdoor and semi-open air. After arriving at Tohagi Station, you can first store your luggage at the station desk. Please ask the staff to contact the hotel to take the luggage to the hotel. After you return from sightseeing, contact the hotel car to pick you up at the station (3:00 to 6:00 pm). The hotel has a car that allows you to go to the observation deck on the top of the mountain (880 yen). It feels good to soak your feet in front of the sunset over the Sea of ​​Japan.
