I stayed in a single room for 6 nights for my second stay following February of this year. The hotel has 5 floors and is a 15-minute walk from the south exit of Hofu Station (Aeon side). There is also a banquet hall, dining room and wedding hall. The elevator is in front of the front desk, the number of rooms is small and the security level is high. The interior of the hotel is gorgeous, and the greenery and flowers around the entrance (car) welcome you. The breakfast hall is closed due to the corona. Onn Yuda Onsen Hotel, very new and clean. I chose a tatami room, which was very comfortable. The hot spring is on the first floor next to the hotel, and you can enjoy it by swiping your card. There is a Lawson diagonally opposite the hotel, and it is very convenient to buy snacks. The hotel is less than one kilometer from Yuda Onsen JR Station, and there are various hand and foot baths nearby, within walking distance.

For the corona countermeasure, breakfast was corresponding to lunch box, but you can eat it in the room meal or breakfast venue. miso soup is instant and vegetables are small, but it is not possible to do it in this time. There were also microwave ovens, so I could warm my lunch box. The parking lot uses the paid parking next door. The price is charged every time you go in and out. I think it was ¥ 500 overnight. As others write, the bath costs 200 yen separately, but when you buy a ticket on a vending machine, you also have shampoo and body soap, and there is a hot spring that usually takes hot water tax. I think it is a range that can be allowed because even the foot bath in the city is paid. Also, if you return it to the front desk without using a toothbrush, you can get sweets.

If you would like to enjoy/experience typical high-end Japanese ryokan. You never regret choosing this hotel. The excellent dinner (I chose fugu-kaiseki) is offered at the individual dining rooms with great privacy. You enjoy quiet moment at their beautiful Japanese garden where many carps. People are very kind and attentive. I had a very impressive time there.

It is a facility where you can stay at a reasonable price range rather than staying in Yamaguchi city. Good points ③ Since it is located in the center of the hot spring town, there are many places to eat out and there is no problem with eating. Good points ④ The room is large and well made, and there is no feeling of crampedness with tables and sofas installed in a place where TV is easy to watch even in a single. Good points ⑤ There are many small bowls of local dishes for meals and breakfast is delicious. Good points ⑥ A place that is easy to go to sightseeing spots in Akiyoshidai and Hagi. Good points ⑦ Hotel route-in price, so accommodation costs are much cheaper than those in the surrounding hotels. ⑧ The night bar is also a tourist destination, so it is 3,000 yen per person who can drink at a gentle and affordable price. More than that, I enjoyed the good place in Yamaguchi Prefecture for the first time in a long time.

Located in the middle of Yamaguchi city, it was great to explore Yamaguchi. Breakfast was also very clean in Japanese home style. It was very convenient to rent a bicycle for free.

Rooms were clean and decently sized for 2 adults. Great stop for one night before continuing on our trip. Staff at the front desk was super helpful and spoke great english!

The hot spring pool in Hagimotojin is interestingly designed. It is fun to soak in a circle of indoor, outdoor and semi-open air. After arriving at Tohagi Station, you can first store your luggage at the station desk. Please ask the staff to contact the hotel to take the luggage to the hotel. After you return from sightseeing, contact the hotel car to pick you up at the station (3:00 to 6:00 pm). The hotel has a car that allows you to go to the observation deck on the top of the mountain (880 yen). It feels good to soak your feet in front of the sunset over the Sea of ​​Japan.
