I was worried because it was my first time traveling alone, but both owners were very nice and the neighborhood was quiet, so it was really nice. Since I arrived early in the morning, I asked if I could leave my luggage there, and they gladly agreed. I especially loved being able to enjoy a traditional Japanese ryokan and breakfast at this price (the grilled eel was especially delicious to the point of tears)! We were able to create happy memories by letting us try on a yukata and experience writing with a brush on various kinds of Korean paper. I was very satisfied because I felt like I was living in a Japanese home. If you come to Yanagawa, other than boating and grilled eel, it would be nice to stay for 1-2 nights and take your time to see the pretty town☺️ I don't often leave reviews like this, but I really wanted to leave one because I felt like the owners really treat their customers with respect. Next time I will come with a friend. Thank you for leaving me with meaningful memories♡

The owner was really, really kind and the best. He gave me snacks, yogurt for breakfast, and disposable utensils! The location was close to the boat boarding area, but it was a bit in the back, so I was scared when I first got lost while checking in at night, but when I saw it during the day, I think the location was good 🤍 I want to go again next time. I was a little scared because the facilities were completely Japanese-style, but the owner and his wife were so nice that I had a great stay. I will definitely go again next time. I miss the owner and his wife so much!

A traditional ryokan in a good location close to many restaurants. It is an older establishment but was still very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. She made a beautiful breakfast for us which included smoked eel which is traditional for the area. We would stay again if we visited Yanagawa again.
