Yangshuo Riverside Resort Hotel

The hotel is very close to Gongnong Bridge. While it's not brand new, it's very well-maintained. The five stars are for the ambiance; the Yulong River is right outside the door, and you can watch the bamboo rafts float by. The environment is absolutely stunning and perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet. There are many places nearby to rent electric scooters, and you can also bike along the Ten-Mile Gallery. Service, however, was practically nonexistent. The 'greeter' at the entrance didn't even offer to help with luggage when I arrived; they didn't utter a word. I booked a twin room advertised as being 'woken up by birdsong,' but honestly, a bird placed at the front door would be a better greeter than the hotel staff. The front desk guy also gave me the furthest room, telling me to 'take my time walking,' even though there were closer rooms available during the off-season. The other staff I encountered, like the housekeeping ladies and the restaurant servers, were all quite good though.

The hotel is located by the Yulong River Gongnong Bridge, allowing guests to walk to the final stop of the Jima-Comprehensive Pier bamboo raft route. From the hotel's riverside walkway, you can see bamboo rafts navigating the Yulong River weir, and the landscaping is thoughtfully designed. Due to the season, we couldn't use the outdoor pool or terrace bed, so I imagine the experience would be even better in summer. The staff are highly professional and respond quickly to requests.

The location is absolutely fantastic, right by the Yulong River! 👍🏻 I go there every time, and the experience is always great. This time, they even had a craft activity where we could make fridge magnets, which my daughter absolutely loved.

Taking advantage of the Christmas holiday to travel from Hong Kong back to mainland China, the Riverside Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The front desk upgraded me to a river view room. The room was spacious and clean, with good facilities and amenities. The most delightful surprise was the hotel's surroundings; nestled by the mountains and water, after breakfast, I took a stroll along the river, accompanied by the scent of osmanthus, and my mood instantly lifted! The location is also excellent. You can walk to Gongnong Bridge to rent an e-bike for exploring, or walk a few more minutes to Qing'e Ferry Terminal to take a bamboo raft (this raft route offers a wide view, allowing you to see the 'camel crossing the river'!). The hotel breakfast also offered a rich variety. All in all, highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Yulong River. You can wake up early and watch the first bamboo rafts pass by. The greenery is fantastic, with a row of bamboo planted along the river. Even though it's a state-owned enterprise, the staff are all incredibly warm and polite. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus to West Street. I'd definitely bring my family back to stay here again if I get the chance.

This hotel is right by the Yulong River, so the scenery goes without saying. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and the front desk was incredibly thoughtful. The gentleman who helps with luggage even assisted us when we arrived in the middle of the night. It was such a great experience that we immediately booked an extra night!
