Mid-mountain Cloud & Water Hotel

The hotel is very nice and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They got me back to the train station and were very kind! I felt safe and looked after. The hotel was quiet and very comfortable. I would highly recommend!

This hotel was great. A superb location as well as super friendly staff, that even drove us to the train station when we checked out. The breakfast is Chinese style. Lots of nearby, delicious restaurants to dine from.

We have to admit we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our receptionist, Xiaoyao, who was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. He quickly answered all our questions and was always happy to assist us with any queries or issues. His caring attitude made us feel very comfortable, and his excellent English made communication a breeze. Xiaoyao truly made a difference in our experience at both the hotel and in the town! However, regarding the hotel itself, I have to say that the standards were lower than advertised. While our room was nice, modern, and fresh, the pool area needs serious renovation. We noticed missing tiles and poor maintenance. Although the view from the pool was spectacular and we enjoyed using it, those seeking higher standards might find their needs unmet. Despite its flaws, this hotel has great potential, and I believe it deserves outstanding reviews—perhaps it did a decade ago. I truly hope it will be restored to its former glory. Breakfast consisted of a typical Chinese spread, which might not be the best fit for Western guests like us; it would have been nice to have more options. Thankfully, Xiaoyao made us lovely coffee each morning, which added a nice touch to our breakfast routine! We liked the hotel’s location as well, situated a bit away from the hustle and bustle, yet still close enough to explore the main attractions. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and with a few improvements, this hotel could be even better!
