Excellent stay, super friendly staff who helped with anything and always available on wechat. Clean rooms, great breakfast and amazing views.

Zen Garden was our most remote hotel during our China tour. The location is undeniably beautiful, offering stunning views of the hills and mountains. However, despite receiving an upgrade after the first night, we found the price-quality ratio unsatisfactory. We paid the same amount for our stay in a five-star hotel the following day in Nanjing, which provided a significantly better room and breakfast. Since its opening in 2017, the hotel appears to have undergone little to no maintenance. There is noticeable wear and tear on the building, and the toilet emitted a strong sewage odor, which was quite unpleasant. Communication was a challenge as Cindy was the only staff member who spoke English properly. When she wasn't available, it was difficult to communicate in person. Fortunately, the WeChat communication was an excellent alternative and made things easier. On a positive note, the afternoon tea and dinner were quite good, offering healthy and fresh options. Breakfast was very limited and none Western options except an egg and white toast with butter. The complimentary zen shoot was a nice touch, although it was apparent that it was the photographer's first time conducting such a shoot. We were particularly disappointed with the spa. The treatments were much different than expected, lacking the luxury and expertise typically associated with such high prices. Additionally, the cost for two people was almost the same as the room rate, which we found unreasonable. Overall, while Zen Garden's location and some amenities were enjoyable, the lack of maintenance, high prices, and communication difficulties detracted from our experience. With all the new buildings in the same area, there are better options.

We had a very pleasant stay at Zen Garden Resort. The staff are very kind and helpful, and can arrange free shuttles to anywhere within 7km of the Resort (which is close enough for several attractions and Yangshuo town). The room was quite spacious and comfortable, with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. We particularly enjoyed the incense and tea in the room which set a very relaxing mood. The Resort also offers a range of activities like breathing meditations in the morning and lantern decorating at night which we enjoyed. The restaurant was especially excellent for all meals, and even provide free afternoon tea from 3-4pm. The fat cat in the lobby, Baozi, and the small dogs were lovely to have around. It’s within about 10-20 minutes drive away from most attractions the area, but there are also some nice walks you can do around the Resort. A bit on the expensive side, but you will definitely have a good time here.

The hotel is situated about 200 metres behind the Yulong river and nested in a quiet village, tucked not too far away from the tourist attractions of the Shili Hualang 十里画廊. The scenery is great and generally very, very calm. The management team is extremely helpful and friendly, even when we left a few items bought from them, we got a full refund quickly as it was the most convenient for us. Great for vegetarian - the hotel runs a good vegetarian (Chinese) options. Their western options are really limited to toast and butter served with coffee. Great if you are ok with a Chinese menu. We loved their cat, 包子 the most. The cute and chubby Garfield cat enjoys Yangshuo more than anyone there. Unfortunately their pool was under renovation during the hot weather season while we were there. Otherwise it could've been even better. Generally clean rooms. Great for couples, retirees and young families.

The hotel environment is great, the lobby furnishings are full of Zen, and the room has a 180-degree viewing balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the unparalleled mountain scenery. The restaurant dishes are all fresh local ingredients, and the vegetarian dishes taste very good. The staff are very warm and friendly, and the children like the Zen activities very much.

A very good health and leisure resort with an elegant and comfortable environment and a very convenient parking lot. The restaurant's breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner are all very delicious.

Recommended by a friend, this hotel is really unexpected, it is simply "inner beauty". We just arrived at the store, it was exactly three o'clock in the afternoon, and we ran into afternoon tea. We had afternoon tea and rested for a while, and watched Impression Liu Sanjie in the evening. What surprised me was that the hotel room was so considerate, with Chinese medicine foot bath bags and sleep sandalwood, which was really considerate. My friend and I stayed in the store for two days. I was originally thinking of finding a quiet place to rest. Unexpectedly, this store launched the "Academy Life" travel and healing package, with morning exercises in the morning and yoga the next day; in the afternoon, there was meditation and copying scriptures, and in the evening there were Song-style tea, intangible cultural heritage incense making, and intangible cultural heritage hand-made sachets. There were so many activities. In addition to watching Impression, I stayed in the store all the time. My friend and I really didn't want to go back to the city to work. It was too comfortable and calmed down a lot. The breakfast was also very rich. The afternoon tea was made by myself, not sweet and greasy, and the ingredients were very healthy. Eating, staying and playing were all in the store. There is also Zen massage therapy. I have been feeling uncomfortable in my neck and shoulders recently, and my head hurts. After Zen massage, my body feels very hot and I feel much more relaxed. There are also good luck facials and head massages. I see there are many activities. I wrote so much all of a sudden. I want to make it clear that I am not exaggerating. It is because the service of this store is so considerate. There are so many Chinese activities. It is the first time I have felt such considerate service and activities. The lotus flowers have also begun to bloom. The scenery outside the hotel is very beautiful. I strongly recommend this time to visit. There are very few people. I also hope that this store can continue to do so and become more and more popular.

The view is superb, and you can watch the sunrise and sunset on the rooftop. The room is very comfortable and the bedding is very good. The whole hotel decoration is full of Zen, very healing, and the dog is very cute and healing. The housekeeper's photography skills are really great. The service staff are also warm and hospitable. There is also unlimited ginger tea at the front desk, which is very dehumidifying.

This is my second time here, mainly for the chef. There is really nothing good to eat in Yangshuo, beer fish is everywhere. The stir-fried dishes at Zhuchuangxiyu are all good, and my son rated the stir-fried meat with tea oil as the best he has ever eaten. I really like the design of the lobby window to borrow the view, but this time the bookcase blocked it, which is a pity.

Overall, the experience was very good, and the service was very considerate. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were given a cup of ginger-date tea, snacks were provided at noon, and there was a rich and natural breakfast in the morning. There was also a foot bucket in the room for us to relax, and the facilities were very complete. I believe it will be more beautiful in summer, when lotus flowers will be in full bloom [Rose]
