Yantai Puyuan Hotel

Very mediocre. First off, I booked a twin room. Although it had a window, it directly faced the residential buildings behind, probably less than 50 meters away. I had to keep the curtains drawn the entire time I was in the room, which essentially made it a windowless room. All the twin rooms face this direction and have the same issue. As for the bathing facilities, it was just a shower and a hot tub. Scrubbing was an extra charge, and if you didn't pay for that, there was nothing else to do in there. I don't understand why there was still an admission fee. So speechless.

The entire hotel smells of Chinese flavor. Breakfast is decent if you don't mind Chinese food. The room was comfortable, and the gym and public bath were also satisfactory. However, it's a bit far from downtown Yantai and an hour and a half from the airport. It's a good place to just relax. I'm not sure if it's a special perk from Trip.com, but the late check-out until 2 p.m. was nice.

For a family trip, with two adults and two children, the room type is suitable, but the decoration details are too poor. I don't know if the upstairs floor has been soaked in water and has sunk in. The bedside lamp on the downstairs bed is right above my head at night. I don't know what the design is. The air conditioning vents below are also facing the bed, which is cold and noisy. Although the hotel provides a buffet breakfast, I still don't recommend it. The cost-effectiveness is not high and the experience is very poor.

The hotel has complete facilities, convenient parking, and the rooms are warm and spacious. The service of Xiao Yang at the front desk is also very attentive and enthusiastic. The room type was upgraded for free. It was great and a good experience.
