However, the corridor on the top floor was extremely hot, and the water pressure in the bathroom was unstable, likely due to the top floor location. The hotel reception was very attentive; they called to check if I could get to the hotel before I arrived at 10 PM. The hotel is very close to Yantai Railway Station, only a little over a kilometer away. There's a bus stop just to the left of the hotel exit, and Joy City is diagonally opposite, making shopping and ordering takeout very convenient. It's also very close to Zhifu Bay Plaza, but I'm not sure if there are any shared bikes in Yantai, as I hardly saw any. I arrived in Yantai too late to rent an electric scooter. If possible, definitely rent one; the distances between attractions in Zhifu District are awkward – taking a taxi seems unnecessary, and walking is quite a distance. Renting an electric scooter is the best option.

The location is great, within walking distance of the train station, right across from Joy City, and close to attractions. My complaint is: the room was incredibly damp and had a musty smell. I stayed two nights in a row, and on the last night I just couldn't stand it anymore. Late at night, around midnight, the room's smart speaker said "Items have arrived at your door" three times.
