LIJING COAST HOTEL YANTAI

They upgraded us to a suite for free, which was awesome! The hotel is close to attractions, making getting around super convenient. The room was clean and odor-free, and the hot water in the bathroom was consistent. The staff had a gentle demeanor and were quick to resolve any issues. The overall environment was quiet, perfect for a vacation, and definitely worth another visit.

The hotel's location is excellent; there's a bus stop right outside with direct routes to Yantai Railway Station, Yantai Mountain Scenic Area, and more. The front desk service was even better – always available, meticulous, and made us feel at ease during our stay. Dining and shopping options are very convenient around the hotel. The room was beautifully decorated, and the two windows offered both ventilation and great views, which was delightful. The high-definition TV screen was especially comfortable to watch, which is a rare find. Overall, we were very satisfied with this stay. This was my family's first time taking the ferry from Dalian to Yantai. We arrived after 8 PM, and since we had an early high-speed train the next morning, we decided to book this hotel near Yantai Station in advance. The hotel has a nice decor, spacious rooms, and a unique design. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room even had a retro arcade machine! Overall, a great stay!

I chose this hotel for a trip with my kids, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location right in front of the train station is super convenient for taxis and buses. The environment is lovely, and the decor is very unique. The room was large and spacious, and the bed was soft and comfortable. They have a game console and a laundry room. The service attitude was excellent; after check-in, they thoughtfully gave us a tourist guide and some snacks. Each room also gets four bottles of water daily.

The room was quite spacious, and parking was convenient with charging stations right in the lot. The decor was a bit abstract. There was a game console in the room, which the kids absolutely loved, and the mattress was quite comfortable.

Another time I was misled by Ctrip's rating system. Taxis can't access the hotel entrance, and the lobby is tiny. The elevator is old; my kid said it's even worse than the one in our apartment building, with the metal peeling off. Crucially, the lighting is dim, and there's a thick layer of dust everywhere, including the hallways and rooms. The room reeked of smoke, and the bedding felt damp – I finally understood why people say hotels spray their fake plants with water. We arrived late at night and decided to just make do for one night, but I woke up in the middle of the night choking on the smoke, feeling like my lungs were full of nicotine residue. The faucet design in the bathroom sink was impractical and hard to operate. The desk was located under the TV, and to top it off, there were no power outlets nearby. The sofa was dirty, with dust in the crevices. Breakfast was also terrible; for 26, you probably only got about six worth of food – just congee and steamed buns. I have no idea how this place got a four-diamond rating; I need to complain about Ctrip's rating system, it's seriously flawed!

The room was great, and the location was excellent, right next to the bus station and close to the ferry terminal and high-speed rail station. The retro game console in the room was a hit with the kids, who loved playing it. My family and I had a really fun stay! 😁

They said they upgraded my room, and it was pretty good, quite quiet. However, the interior decor isn't the traditional minimalist or elegant style. It's only about a 10-minute walk from Yantai Station, which is very close, but it's a bit far from the tourist attractions, with the closest one being 2.3 kilometers away.

The hotel has a unique design, but the service is definitely the highlight: warm, attentive, and with great attention to detail. We felt right at home during our stay ✨. The only downsides were the limited breakfast options – for instance, only oranges were available for fruit, and coffee wasn't offered. While there was an Americano coffee machine in the lobby, the coffee quality wasn't great.
