On arriving at the marco polo I realised I had left my bag with money credit cards phone etc on the bus. The hotel staff were amazing. The reception staff, concierge and a representative from TTS all helped. Within a very short time they had located my bag much to my relief. A member of staff took a taxi and picked up my bag and brought it back to the hotel. I can't praise their speed and professionalism enough. The hotel was lovely. The pool was fantastic. The service and friendliness from the staff was lovely. The food was varied although sometimes not very hot. The room was clean and the gentleman that cleaned it made a lovely effort decorating our bed with the towels and flowers, a lovely touch. All in all our stay was very relaxing and good value for money. Many thanks to you all.

Je tenais à exprimer ma déception concernant le séjour de quatre jours que j’ai récemment passé dans votre établissement. Ayant choisi l’Hôtel Marco Polo pour sa réputation et ses promesses de confort et de service de qualité, je m’attendais à une expérience mémorable. Malheureusement, plusieurs aspects de mon séjour ont été insatisfaisants. Premièrement, l’accueil à la réception manquait de chaleur et de professionnalisme. Un sourire et une attitude accueillante auraient été grandement appréciés après un long voyage. De plus, la propreté de la chambre laissait à désirer; ainsi que la coffre fort ne s'ouvre pas et une salle de bain mal nettoyée ne sont pas acceptables pour un hôtel de votre renommée. Le service au restaurant était également en deçà de mes attentes. Les serveurs semblaient débordés et peu attentifs. Quant à la nourriture, elle était correcte, mais pas à la hauteur de la gastronomie promise. Enfin, la seule point positif c'est l'équipe de l'animation. Je tenais à partager ces remarques dans l’espoir que vous prendrez des mesures pour améliorer ces points. Un séjour à l’hôtel devrait être synonyme de détente et de plaisir, et non de déception.

Already 6 times in this hotel! The food is top notch. The pool is always clean. The bartenders and waiters are polite. But this time the animation became better! Aqua aerobics before lunch was very lively. In the evening dancing in different styles. Most of all I remember the animator Pikachu. Very energetic, cheerful and kind man. Always raised the mood of the audience, well done! Very cool dancer, I wish you success in career advancement!!!

Si vous voulez passer de bonnes vacances surtout ne réservez pas dans cet hôtel. Arrivée le 1er jour en fin de matinée, aucune serviette de plage disponible à l’accueil, on nous dit de revenir à 14h , puis 15h, puis dans 10 min pour finalement nous dire qu’il n’y en a plus pour la journée. 2eme jour, ménage de la chambre non fait, il a fallu aller réclamer à l’accueil. Le soir on trouve un cafard dans la salle de bain, et il y en a eu tous les soirs, au sol ou qui se baladaient sur nos trousses de toilettes. La femme de ménage ne balayait même pas les cafards morts le matin. Pas de clim pendant les 3 premiers jours, ensuite elle faisait tellement de bruit qu’il faut dormir avec des boules quies, même si vous l’arrêtez il y a un bruit constant d’eau qui coule. Tout le mobilier est sale et usé, transat, coussin, salon de jardin. Dernier jour, on nous vole une serviette de plage sur nos transats, la réception refuse de nous donner une nouvelle serviette et de nous rendre la caution car l’on a plus la serviette. Du jamais vu. Le personnel de la réception est très désagréable et se moque de nos réclamations, surtout la soit disant « gouvernante ». Indigne d’un hôtel 4* qui fait partie du groupe FRAM. Message pour l’hôtel : inutile de répondre à mon message par vos réponses toutes prêtes. C’est quand les clients sont à l’hôtel qu’il faut s’en occupez, ensuite c’est trop tard. Je fais également un message à FRAM pour signaler ce qu’il se passe dans votre hôtel.

We arrived at this hotel for a short break. First impressions ok but then we went to our room. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, no toiletries, not even toilet paper, curtains that didn’t close even half way and a musty stale smell. Went immediately down to reception and asked to change. Second room better but no coat hangers so back to reception again. Took over a day to get a safe as staff have to come with you for some reason. As for the food, worst we have ever experienced, cold, raw chicken, flies landing on bread and the plates. Never had food as bad as this. Chairs in restaurant were dirty, never been cleaned and microwave was filthy. I believe easyJet have pulled this holiday and I can see why. This is not a 4 star hotel, not even a 3 star.

Was worried after reading a few reviews but actually had a good holiday and is the best hotel we have stayed in Tunisia so far. You have to remember 4star is not the same in every country and yes we could nit pick some of the decor. But overall the hotel is very clean, bed comfy, staff very friendly. lovely pool and leave deposit for pool towels at reception. bottles water from bar. we was early in season so no jacuzi in pool, only one restaurant open. there was some painting going on and could see prep work to open other ones soon. Wifi all over the hotel, even can get on beach sometimes. Smart tv in rooms so had netflix / prime just remember to log yr account out . Food is well presented , can find something nice to eat, fresh cooked fish/turkey/beef and always pizza/pasta if you not adventurous. the only thing i would say is leave anything hot to put on plate last as cold plates and by time got salad etc, food warm. does get a bit samey but thats all inc -usual lots pastries at breakfast, eggs cooked/ pancakes fresh fruit/cakes tip the staff and they look after you, but they pleasant regardless . my only bad points i would make is Air-conditioning. they dont put on till july !! but luckily most times quite breeze. but did make difficult to sleep some nights and noisy with birds in morning as having door open all night. entertainments team good fun and work hard. recommend take ear plugs. travel fan if out season the beach is ok to left of hotel, as no seaweed, and is nice to swim in and clear. there is alot seaweed to right by harbour . they do seem to rake it but doesnt make alot difference. we did see a small tractor go by and though good but wasnt much change. which is a shame. I think general as we stayed last year near sousse and same seaweed issue.
