Enchantment Resort

Whoever says one person can’t make a difference hasn’t met Ethan Tedrick at Enchantment Resort. In September, I traveled from Florida with my daughter for a mother–daughter getaway just before her wedding. After a busy year of planning, we knew a week of mindfulness and Sedona’s natural beauty would be the perfect reset before her October celebration. From the moment we arrived, Ethan took exceptional care of us—whether it was a golf-cart ride to evening stargazing or a lift back after a long, dusty hike. He was friendly, thoughtful, and deeply knowledgeable, the kind of local who never takes Sedona’s magic for granted. By the end of our stay, we realized that Ethan—much like the Red Rocks surrounding Enchantment—embodies a calm, steady, and quietly reliable presence. He truly elevated our experience and stands out as a wonderful ambassador for the resort.

My best friend and I spent our 50th birthdays at Enchantment in Sedona. The good:The property and location is unmatched. Gorgeous. Spiritual. Well maintained. Relaxing. The spa is out of this world nice. The beds are super comfortable. The amenities are plentiful. It smells like heaven. You can walk/hike/play tennis/swim/paint/draw/relax. All lovely. Areas for improvement: There is a disconnect between the very high level service presented by the valet, within the spa, the restaurants and the cleaning staff and then the behavior/attentiveness of the check in team and the concierge (strangely enough). They didn't seem to know our itinerary and essentially told us to 'check our email' when we had questions. We noted (everywhere) that we were there for a big birthday celebration and nothing was ever acknowledged/done with that. Which is fine but - why ask if you are celebrating something? It seems some staff are on constant watch for a famous person-sighting and when you are not famous their attention veers elsewhere. Service culture wise things were disjointed. The most problematic part of the stay was that you can hear EVERYTHING between two casitas. Everything. Unless this is remedied I would not chose Enchantment for a romantic get away because there is no privacy whatsoever between adjoining lodging spaces which is such a strange situation because otherwise this place feels like a restful sanctuary.

Our family of 10 just came back from Enchantment resort over Thanksgiving. The casitas and grounds were beautiful. Every staff member was friendly and attentive. This resort is pricey, but we felt it was worth it. We did the following activities: turkey trot, Thanksgiving buffet, swimming in 90 degree pool, pottery, mountain biking, pickleball and stargazing. We stay through Saturday to enjoy the tree lighting, ice skating and carolers. We also drove to Williams AZ on the Friday to experience The Polar Express. We highly recommend the resort.

This is a top-notch resort that I would highly recommend. Outstanding customer service and luxurious place to wind down.
