Yawatahama Century Hotel Itoh

The facilities are a little old. However, there is no problem with the guest rooms. There is a parking lot on the first floor of the hotel. I'm glad there's no parking fee.

It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Yawatahama Station. If there is a bus available at a time that is convenient for you, it is better to use it. The hotel is located in a corner of a shopping street in the city, but like most people, it is a shuttered street. However, there are restaurants and a convenience store relatively nearby. It's about a 5 minute walk to the roadside station, which is convenient for buying souvenirs. The hotel itself is not new, but there were no particular inconveniences. The room was larger than I expected and didn't feel dirty or aged. WIFI is available. Bath and toilet are standard. Since I stayed with a room charge, I am not sure about the meals.

I actually stayed there in 2015, but it was a unique and shocking experience that I will never forget, so I am writing about it. Since my plan included breakfast, I had breakfast at the hotel. When I took my seat, the food was brought to me in a special, bulky container that I had never seen before. When I opened the top lid, I couldn't help but feel disappointed as I saw the contents were very plain and unbelievable for the size of the container. While eating in silence, I casually checked in on the guests around me, and noticed that they seemed to be having better meals. Just as I was about to finish my meal, wondering why there were no breakfast options, I looked closely at the container in front of me and found that it had a two-tier structure, and when I removed the first layer, the second layer opened. I also noticed that there was food in it! Since we were not informed of this, we thought that there was only a limited amount of food available, and filled our stomachs with food instead of rice, so when we realized that there were other dishes, it was time for the next festival... The food was served in such a strange container. If so, why don't you simply explain that "this container has two tiers"? When I complained to the woman in charge of the service when I was leaving, she almost ignored me, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. I hope it has improved over the years. I have had many opportunities to travel not only domestically but also overseas over the years, so I would like to add that the above is not due to my ignorance or lack of experience.

I stayed here for myself. Double room in Japanese style. The room was large and I could use it freely, which was helpful. The staff are very kind. I contacted you because I was worried that my work outside was late and it was getting dark. Then, I was guided to the hotel while walking and it was a very kind response. Dinner was included that day, but I was asked to confirm the dinner time again. I was too busy and embarrassed to leave the room messy. However, when I came back, the bed was made beautifully, which was really helpful. For breakfast, each person can choose Japanese or Western. I chose Japanese food, but I was relieved that the miso soup had a gentle taste. *Kakegohan is also happy. From the breakfast venue, you can see the beautiful scenery of Yawatahama in front of you. Dinner is on the 2nd floor. Enjoy delicious seafood with sea bream and champon. Plasma clusters are installed in the rooms and the breakfast venue, which gives a good impression. Is it just because it was a Japanese-style room? The dryer was too old-fashioned in the Showa era, so I was scared. If you get your hair caught... It would be even better if there was a small, inexpensive, and high-performance dryer like Panasonic's Ionity. I bought a small hair dryer at an electric shop. After that, if there are women's amenities such as makeup remover, lotion, milky lotion. The toothbrush seemed to be of good quality, so I took it home. I felt that the Wi-Fi was a little slow, but I managed to use it and was able to do some research. Nearby restaurants include Fujigran's Champon restaurant "Donto" and "Dosanko Ramen", and Minato's "Doya Shokudo". At this hotel and nearby restaurants, I was so happy that I was able to taste the fruits of the sea.
