Room was lovely Nicely decorated Clean TV didn’t work properly remote was dropping to bits

We chose the White Swan as our venue for our small wedding in March. We had popped in one Sunday as we are local and it was just a thought about looking at the venue for the party, we initially spoke with Carole who was so lovely. She explained the function room was free if we were buying the buffet menu which we were. She booked us in and took a 50% deposit. After that we dealt with the lovely landlady Helen. We had some family coming and staying in the rooms for a few nights and so we decided to book a room ourselves too for the wedding night. Helen also suggested we could go there for our family meal after our registry office wedding in the morning. She arranged the room lovely for our meal and the food was absolutely delicious. She kept the function room for us all day. After our meal all the family dispersed to their rooms and other family checked in at another local hotel. This worked out perfectly as then Helen got the room ready for the evening party. I had brought and dropped off the decorations the day before, I’d offered to help decorate but Helen said I shouldn’t have to do so on my wedding day and took all the stress away from me. The chef in the night cut up our enormous wedding cake for us too, I know that was difficult and needed a hot knife to do so as I was left with half to take home and struggled to cut it myself, so thank you chef. Everything ran so smoothly on the day. It was just perfect. The room was lovely that we stayed in and other family members were very happy with their room too. Thank you so much to Helen and the whole White Swan team for such a great day, one we will remember forever.

Great place. Overnight for the airport,lovely and friendly. Good food,good company and very comfortable room. Shout out especially to Chris and Jess who couldn’t do enough for us,would recommend 100%,and will definitely use again when flying from Leeds Bradford

We celebrated a special occasion here in the function room with a buffet and it was fantastic! Everyone commented on how they had enjoyed themselves. Gluten free and kids menu were available and there was plenty of food. The staff also served the cake we brought.

Hotel was great everything was perfect. There is really nothing to do in the town. We were there for one night to see a show at the town hall so for a stay it was great.

Several faults in the room need attention – e.g. loose hinges on door to the room.

Matthew and Mackenzie were excellent. They even persuaded the chef to stay on to prepare us a meal as we arrived late from the Airport. We have stayed here several times and we really love it. The rooms are comfortable and the food is great. The White Swan is also very convenient for the Airport.

Have stayed here before. Good hotel, with friendly staff. Good location for us, as it's just down the road from relatives. Bit expensive, considering there's no breakfast. But, not the end of the world. Morrisons just a couple of minutes away, so we get a breakfast there. Will gladly book again.

The White Swan is well placed for Leeds/Bradford airport and provides very good accommodation. The staff were friendly and could not have been more helpful. There was a good choice of food on the menu and our meals were good value and very tasty.
