Nature Plateau Paradise

Over priced, not clean. Service was good. Issue with infrastructure, food quality was ok.

This I thing is a new concept making u stay in a fungus filled room at cost of 15000 and giving you unclean fungus bedsheet and blanket, also with u deviant mind serving bread butter with fungus stains and bread with fungus growth and after confronting the ***ager Sagar he accepted that bread was stale , upon discussing the things with owner he gave a reason that temperature goes in minus degree and due to moisture the fungus growth is acceptable

At a price point of Rs. 3500 approx one goes with a Ginger or IBIS or Lemontree standard. This place is far from it. If those are 6-7 on 10 against a Marriott or Sheraton say, this will be a 2 on 10. Very run down and sad. Lots of reviews mention Great Location. Well it overlooks a valley and a lake as ***y other hotels do in that area. They are 300 feet away from the booth that sells tickets to visit the plateau. No big deal. You have to drive 5 mins to a parking lot and park your car from where they bus you to the plateau. Another 5 mins ride. We "checked in" at 10 am, took the room in, asked for it to be cleaned once again and went to Kaas. After a tired 2 hours wife and I looked at each other and decided it was best to drive back to Pune. The thought of spending the night there when we had a better option just 150 minutes away was too tempting. We forfeited the money and made our escape. We felt sorry for the housekeeper cum receptionist cum waiter when he looked hopefully at us and wanted to know "what exactly was wrong". We told him it's our fault that we have gotten used to something different and that he had done a great job. But keeping emotions aside, skip this place at this price point.

We stayed at this place during our visit to Kaas Pathar. This is closest to the Kaas pathar and has ample parking space for vehicles. The rooms facing the valley have fantastic views and shall be preferred. The resort is trying to expand and build fun resort with few swings/ play areas. It also serves as a destination wedding during the off season. However, the rooms lack basic amenities commensurate with the price being charged like tea kettle, bottled water, WiFi, intercom, cupboard, iron, basic furniture like table etc. There are lots of bugs in the evening (you are in the nature) so put off the lights and close the doors/windows tight. The bathrooms are tiny.
