Mills Park Hotel

My husband and I enjoyed 2 nights at Mills Park Hotel. The room was lovely,super clean and comfortable. We both loved the restaurant and the unique gift shop on site. Every staff member was friendly and incredibly kind to us. Customer service was the very best we could ever ask for. We will definitely be back!

We had a delightful stay! The hotel is vintage, and beautifully decorated. The staff is warm and welcoming. It's very clean, and the restaurant in the hotel, Ellie's, has excellent food. Highly recommend a room with porch access. And it's located steps away from many of the shops and restaurants in Yellow Springs.

We had our doubts about the hotel opening in Yellow Springs, but this visit (our first) put those doubts to rest! The staff was friendly and welcoming making us feel right at home. However, for a complementary toothbrush (I left it at home) I had to dance the ‘Swim’. Our room was wonderful, bathroom huge, and bed comfortable. The 24-hr access to the gift shop and front desk let us fulfill a late night craving for Young’s ice cream.

Mills Park Hotel is beautiful and very quaint. Our stay was perfect and looking forward to returning in October for the street festival. Everyone who worked there was a delight. The owners, Ryan and Alex, are always present and super engaging Shawna at the front desk, just terrific. Chris, in the restaurant, really fun and loves his work. Great food as well. .

I really loved staying here. My only issue was there was no mini fridge in the room. We had some leftovers we had to throw out because we did not have a way to keep them.

We stayed at the Mills Park Hotel after seeing it on a recent bike trip on the Little Miami Scenic Trail that goes through Yellow Springs. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the hotel as well as the town. The Mills Park Hotel is an impressive, beautiful building. It is a real treat to stay in a place that is so pretty and well taken care of. It is absolutely spotless. You can easily check in online. Something I rarely do since I'm not that great with technology. Then you just stop by the desk to pick up your keys when you arrive. Online checkout is even easier. We made good use of the rocking chairs on the big front porch after walking back from diner. So it was a very pleasant stay at the Mills Park. However, I think perhaps the restaurant breakfast staff could use some help and/or further training. Since there was no hostess we had to wait quite some time to be seated by the waitress. The individual cleaning off tables did approach us but ignored my good morning and went about his business. No "someone will be with you in a minute". It was also quite some time before the waitress came back and took our order once we were seated. I hope ours was just an isolated case since it would be a shame if it was the norm since everything else was so enjoyable.

This place never fails. A calm in the storm. Staff is amazing. Rooms are amazing. Literally a diamond in a cool place with the happy atmosphere a tired traveler needs. We travel the country/world and this is a favorite. I mean who has affordable beer in the gift shop and an amazing lobby with impeccable service. Mills Park, that’s who.

Beautiful hotel and room. Loved greeting the day on the front porch. Super clean with gleaming wood floors, baseboards and under furniture. Very friendly staff Room ready early. Gift shop open 24 hours. Plenty of parking Minus: HVAC unit in room so loud, we turned it off to sleep. Odd, musty smell in 3rd floor hall seating area
