Nice and spacious hotel. Complete with Amenities and in excellent location

The location is convenient, if the sky is clear,can see aurora above the sky,if it is not,need to take a tour to chase the light.

Good location and easy for travelers to buy things at the supermarket nearby but the room price is a little bit high

Check on was problematic. We were supposed to stay in a suite as we paid higher but assigned us to a room far from the main hotel. When we got there, there was no elevator as their mechanic was still fixing things. So I requested we be returned to the main building.z this was in the middle of a minus 32 degrees Celsius outside temperature. The manager though gave a room at the main building, at the extension part. So we had to drag our luggage’s for about 5 minutes to our room. The extension wing also had a broken elevator. Btw, the door to main lobby is also not working. Breakfast was expensive but limited choices. Attendant had to ask 4 times for our number. The Hotel would have been nice.

had dinner used my credit card to pay and found the charge entered was 8 times the cost of my meal. talked to their accounts person and no resolution after 4 days. not sure if it was intentional as you would think it would be an automatic entry. also the chip and pop machines had the coin slot taped off. there is hardly any sound proofing. 3 am woken up and I could hear people walking around one floor up and hear conversation across the hall clearly

We booked the hotel at Chateau Nova one year ago in advance for Aurora tour in late September!! They sent an email to confirm the room reservation 2 days before the check in date. When we arrived Yellowknife Airport, we called the hotel for pickup. They came in 10-15 minutes. Checkin is fast and they upgrade our 3 rooms to suites. The suite room numbers are 254, 255, and 257. The suite has a living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a laundry room with washer and dryer!! You can do your own laundry 😊👍 The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, can opener, utensils, cookware, wine glass and mugs. Please bring your own wine opener. The room temperature is fine. Our room has a small balcony with tree view. They provide a potable AC in the bedroom but we never use it. They do daily housekeeping if you turn off the green light on the front door. They provide with plenty of towels, shower bar, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and makeup remover. I did not try the food in their restaurant since we have a full size kitchen and a living room. We ordered food from DoorDash and the food is delivered to your hotel room doorstep!! It’s so convenient. Overall the hotel is good and quiet. I found a stain on the bedsheet and they changed the sheet right away!! The sauna and steam room are always out of order. It’s part of hotel amenities but they never are available for guests. Gym is good. I will go back again!! Book early.

The staff were friendly, and the room had a great view. The airport shuttle service was convenient, but I wish the entrance path had been smoother to make it easier to roll luggage in and out.
