THE CHECK IN WAS A BIT CONFUSING,BUT EVERYTHING WAS LOVELY,CLOSE TO THE BEACH WE ENJOYED OUR STAY

We were hoping for a very relaxing couple of days to break our long journey. Instead we got: Soundproofing between upper floor and lower floor is non existent. Even toddler's footsteps could be heard. Children playing right above our bed was very disturbing early every morning. Painting and maintenance lacking. Toaster doesn't work. Unfortunately the wet weather didn't help either, but there is not much to be done about that. Bed was very comfortable. Place was pretty clean. Parking was difficult with our large vehicle.

We stayed here for three nights in early September. Next door they are building a million dollar mansion, so don't expect any peace and quiet for months just yet. The apartment is very original with bits and pieces broken here and there, with curtains not even covering the main door to the deck. So you guessed it with the builders next door staring straight in all day with their radio playing in the background at full volume. On the positive side, the location is excellent and has direct beach access and you can walk for miles. Its only a short 2km walk into town along the beach. Other accommodation options wold be a better choice until they remedy some of the things in the room like providing a sliding door that actually locked.

I wouldn't know what it's like to stay there. We were so looking forward to our short stay. We booked directly 5 days before arriving, then got bumped for a booking .com client a day before arrival. I was told it was double booked due to a "technical error". More like an incompetency error, and all we got was the impersonal perfunctory "Sorry about that". Rather insulting, so they can shove it. Double check your own bookings to avoid disappointment.
