The hotel is clean and warm, the room is small and there is no microwave. At night, a guest was nervous and noisy all night, and he hardly slept well.

Was due to arrive on a Saturday, travelled from Brisbane, delayed leaving due to family reasons, they close at 5pm which is highly unusual, called them and advised we would be late. Was advised they close at 5pm the owner recommended we find alternative accommodation, which did. I did ask if they had a key box, they advised that they did not, and offered no other options. Tried calling on mobile straight to message. When back in Yeppoon, dropped around and they do have key box in plain sight, no refund. If staying here do not be late, otherwise look for somewhere else to stay.

Unique, compact room. Towel rail too high to reach. Limited furniture (only one chair and a fold out second chair). Drawers in vanity wouldn’t close. Don’t like cleaning crockery, glassware etc in bathroom vanity (either provide kitchenette sink or provide housekeeping.

Absolutely incredible! Highly recommend! The cleanliness and attention to detail is above and beyond. A beautiful set up. The owners were also very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Not sure how this place could ever be rated as 4 star plus! Room was tiny with no space to open suitcase except on bed or in shower. It was clean. Air con only worked when key input so had to be in room. Pool was dirty with many insects. Yes I agree it is a tropical place but this pool had not been cleaned. Nice garden area and pleasant host. We packed up and left within an hour.

After a long day of driving we were really pleased to stop off for the night in such a beautiful location. The colours, decor & tropical vibe of the whole place is just gorgeous. The tropical fish tank is a great addition too. The pool is very clean and refreshing. At check in our host was extremely helpful showing us around the property and recommending good dinner spots in Yeppoon. We had a great night sleep in this quiet location & ready to travel again the next day. Early morning beach stroll and swim in the Yeppoon lagoon is a nice way to start the day. It is only a short drive with plenty of parking.

We’ve booked the family deluxe room that came up as suitable for us (husband and myself) and our 3 kids (9, 5 and 2.5) when we booked over ***********. 3 days before our stay we received a confirmation saying the booking was for 3 adults. We called the hotel and explained to them that we’re 2 adults and 3 young kids. The room has a large double bed and 2 bunk beds. Our 2.5yr old sleeps in our bed each night, so she would have slept in the same bed as us. The owner rudely told us that the room is only suitable for 4 people and that he can’t accommodate us and told us to cancel our reservation. We called *********** to cancel our reservation and asked if we could have a refund (we paid $558 for 2 nights!!!!), but the owner of the hotel refused. So now we don’t have accommodation, lost $558 and leaving in 2 days. I hope the owner sleeps well at night knowing that he robbed a young family of so much money!!! Should have read all the negative reviews about this money-hungry individual.
