Primer Hotel

This hotel was extremely disappointing, and I have serious doubts about the authenticity of many of the positive reviews. They appear to have been written by fake accounts or possibly even by the owners themselves. Reasons: The staff—especially the receptionists—were impolite and at times openly rude. Their behavior was far from professional or welcoming. The hotel is currently under construction, which results in constant and disruptive noise. Despite this, the management does not seem to care. At times, it felt as though they were intentionally making even more noise, as if the building were a nightclub rather than a hotel. There is no central heating system. Instead, they provide a very small electric heater with a fixed, non-adjustable temperature, which is completely inadequate for properly warming the room. The tap water quality is extremely poor. It was uncomfortable to shower, and even washing one’s mouth with the water felt unpleasant. When I pointed out that the price they charged did not match the rate advertised on Trip.com, the staff reacted aggressively, almost as if they wanted to start an argument. Their conduct was highly unprofessional. Overall, the service, facilities, and staff behavior were far below acceptable standards. I would strongly advise future guests to reconsider before booking.

Considering the price, location, amenities and view of Mother Square, it is a great option for staying in Yerevan.

Very decent hotel for this budget

The room was huge and looked great. Furniture was comfortable. Internet was excellent. It is close to the circus and the Mother Armenia Monument, but not walkable to other tourist sites. One issue I had was noise isolation. The door unlocking is quite loud and there was a kind of large gap under the door, which I think let sound carry more from the hall. I also heard heavy footsteps from other guests some nights. If you're not a light sleeper and don't mind driving or taking a taxi, I'd say it is really good.

The Wi-Fi was strong, the reception staff were friendly, and I loved the daily variety of warm breakfast options. The only downsides were a couple of broken lamps (so the lighting was dim) and a dead battery in the room safe. However, given the excellent price, these were minor issues. Highly recommended for the value!”

Excellent budget hotel – highly recommended! Primer Hotel in Yerevan was an amazing budget hotel and exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious, warm, and very comfortable, and cleaning was done daily, which we really appreciated. We received a free bottle of water every day, and there was also a free water dispenser downstairs where you could refill anytime. The hotel truly had everything you need, and honestly, even more than expected for the price. The value for money is outstanding. The breakfast was very good with lots of food, fruits, tea, coffee, desserts like cakes, and many tasty options. It was more than enough, but the only small suggestion would be to add a bit more variety, such as cold cuts or additional dishes. The staff was amazing—very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The heating in the room was excellent, which made our stay extra comfortable. The hotel is very well situated, close to bus stops, making it easy to get to the city center, Mega Mall, and other parts of Yerevan. Overall, I loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again. An awesome place at an awesome price!
