dirty ؛ rude ؛ old ; Too much noise ؛ Breakfast quality is very low ؛It is more like an inn than a hotel؛ If you like your comfort and travel, go anywhere, but don't go here؛ This is a suggestion, again the decision is yours, watch the videos and photos and you will understand

To start with the positives; The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from Republic Square, so has a decent location; whilst there are hotels on The Square itself (i.e. The Marriott), Shirak will be a cheaper option. Other reviewers have highlighted the dated decor inside rooms as a negative; whilst it is dated, I saw the charm in it. We paid for a room which had a view of Mount Ararat; we got this and the view was great at times (this was / is weather dependent). The unfortunate negatives; Wi-Fi was hit and miss (largely miss) in our room, meaning we had to go out to the floor landing or downstairs to the main lobby to access the internet. A minor issue for us, but the TV didn’t have signal in the room, so we could not watch anything. A bigger negative was the staff; with the exception of one of the cleaning ladies with dark hair, all staff encountered were quiet at best, and at worst, had zero customer service skills, especially one lady with blonde hair who worked on the reception desk. I asked for a receipt of payment upon checking in and extra toilet paper for our room during our stay, to be told both times “ok” and neither request to be fulfilled. Upon check out, her only communication was to require me to pay for water drank from our room’s fridge, not even a thank you or good bye after that. In summary, for most travellers, a good location on offer, not much else…..

Жили 6 ночей в середине июня 22 г. Номер полулюкс на 13 этаже окна во двор, а не на парк. Немного жаль, но в номере мы только спали, поэтому к виду претензий не было. Главное, что было тихо. Конечно двери не особо звукоизолированы, и если попадутся шумные соседи, будет слышно. Нам повезло. Отель не очень молод, но к сантехнике и кондею никаких замечаний. Спальные место продавлены, поэтому для смягчения на широкую двуспальную кровать вместо матраса было уложено доп. одеяло. Из-за чего было жарче, чем могло бы быть. Ну и подушки плоские и неудобные. Но - это беда большинства отелей. В номере не было обещанного сейфа, спросили на ресепшене, и получили предложение оставить ценности у них (не захотели), но заверили, что криминальных элементов в Ереване и в их отеле нет. Так и оказалось! На этом минусы закончились. Завтраки очень разнообразные, на все вкусы, и для веганов и для обыч.людей. Ассортимент разнообразный, меняющийся. Салаты, нарезки, нац.закуски, овощи гриль, гарниры, мюсли, молоч.каша, йогурты, глазунья, сладости и сезон.фрукты. Напитки из супермаркета САС, терпимые. Чай в пакетиках. Кофе, что сильно удивило, растворимый. Стоит большая чаша с порошком и десертная ложка. Набираешь себе в чашку индивидуально и разбавляешь кипятком. Это, пожалуй, тоже минус. Как-то несолидно для 3* не иметь кофемашину. Сотрудники отеля крайне доброжелательные, приветливые, на все вопросы отвечают, проблемы решают. Запоминают постояльцев в лицо и выдают ключ, стоит лишь приблизиться к из стойке. Место для хранения багажа после выселения и до момента трансфера в аэропорт предоставили молниеносно и бесплатно. Расположение отеля - шикарное. 4 минуты и ты в самом центре, на пл. Республики, или то же расстояние и около Голубой мечети, ил на центр.проспекте М.Маштоца. Фруктовые лавки в паре минут от отеля в разных направлениях. Рядом куча парков на все вкусы. В парках питьевые фонтанчики с идеальной водой. Все отлично. ЗА свои деньги очень адекватный отель.

в "эконом" номере реально убито всё. Простыня с дырой от окурка, лампочки частично перегоревшие, посуда в номере была грязной, на душе - слой извести. Вода из крана пахла соответствующе - кажется, что сантехнику не меняли уже полвека. Вайфай до номера не добивал. Говорят, в номерах подороже условия лучше, но не было желания проверять.

Shirak hotel is a budget hostel in partnership of the travel agency I got from Dubai. When I found out that they put us in Shirak for our tour in Yerevan I was skeptical so I searched the feedbacks and it was terrible. Giving the benefit of the doubt, we still accepted to be placed on Shirak. And I can confirm that the feedbacks were true. It is fine that it is an old hotel. But is unacceptable that its dirty. The bedsheets were dirty and there is a legit sign that its not new clean sheet. There’s a lot of hair left by the previous travelers who use that room. The room is dusty. Me and my husband decided to leave our 3D2N accommodation and transferred to different hotel.

The design of the room was old with the least amenities. In terms of cleaning the room was terrible specially the bathroom .There was always a bad smell in the bathroom which we sprayed some perfume and then went there. The carpets were at least 40 years old! and I think they have never been cleaned. The TV was the age of my grandmother I think! The breakfast was limited with the least decoration and the low quality cutlery that were not that clean.You have to struggle to find ones without any remaining stains. In my opinion, the location of the hotel is excellent and It was the only positive point.

Hotel was very poor. The reception staff could speak very little English. The room was smelling of smoke, the shower was discusting, the bed was basically a base with a matress topper with poor bed sheets. The breakfast was very basic and un appealing. Overall very disappointed with the stay at this hotel.
