Great hotel, great service, great breakfast, great central location. The only negative was the construction site behind the hotel. You basically have to spend the whole day exploring to avoid hearing any construction noise. But that has nothing to do with the hotel. Conclusion: we would come again. Thank you Tufenkian.

Wonderful hotel, close to Republic Square. All the sights of the center of Yerevan, shops, restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel is very nice, an authentic old building of Yerevan. Excellent rooms and service. Bar, restaurant, small swimming pool. Breakfast is quite varied. Of the minuses: insufficient lighting for shaving in the bathroom (but this is just a matter of habit).

The facilities are very old, and few employees can understand English, so it is very difficult to communicate, and I feel that the employees are not energetic. The hotel says it has air conditioning but it is not open in spring and autumn. The room is very stuffy on sunny days, and the room is cold on rainy days. I really don't know what to think. If the complaint is not dealt with, it will be bad. Check-in gave a discount coupon for the restaurant, but whether the room order can be used for one day. On the second day, the guest room was tidied up in a mess, and the pajamas were rolled up for me and covered with a quilt, even if it was cleaning the room, I don't know what to think. not recommended at all

Unfortunately, the hotel was settled two hours later than the indicated check-in time. The rooms were cleaned differently. Everything depended on the cleaners. Someone took out the trash and vacuumed, and someone did not. At breakfast, I would like more authentic Armenian cuisine and, in particular, pastries. For example, gata instead of croissants and puffs. The location is great!

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Excellent front desk, who sorted out our minor issues promptly and efficiently; some were due to our own stupidity, e.g. not been able to switch on the TV! In particular, we'd like to thank Inga for her patience and help. Lovely staff throughout. Great renovation of a historic building, where everything worked perfectly. Power shower that was easy to turn on- no need for an engineering degree! Minimal modern design, gave the hotel a Zen feeling.The location was also perfect, and we particularly liked the breakfast. The choice wasn't massive, but it was eclectic and delicious. We nearly canceled our reservation when we read the reviews here about construction noise. We didn't experience any , and we are glad we didn't cancel, because our stay in the hotel was excellent. One thing I would mention is that the bathtub was very high; it wasn't a problem for us, but an elderly person (e.g. my mother) wouldn't be able to climb over it to get to the shower. If this is your case, make sure you get a room with a shower, not bath.

The hotel is what you see when booking, so no significant surprises with anything in particular. The staff are not exactly friendly, but are functional only. The exception is a young lady, Eleanora, on reception, she is very helpful.
As far as a trip to Yerevan goes, believe everything you read, “there are more sharks there than in all the oceans of the world”. The scamming starts the second you reach the arrival hall “taxi, taxi, taxi”, if you are fooled into getting one, even the one who shows you the meter, be prepared to pay 10 times the rate. Top tip, contact the hotel and ask them to get a taxi pick up at EVN, you will thank me!!!!

The staff is amazing! They almost bent backwards to help me with my requests with parking, scales, etc.
The hotel location is great. The room was cleaned daily and cleaned well. The interior style also helps to form great memories!
There seems to be a regional problem with hot water temperature - one just has to rely on surgical precision to find the right balance between the cold and the hot water and on secret spells to make sure that balance holds. The room temperature control also seems to have a soul and mind of its own: I couldn’t get the darn thing below 22C - opening the window helps for the cool air to get in, but it would unfortunately also bring some notes of smoke as well.
Net-net, I’d definitely consider this hotel for my next stay. And a special thanks to the staff!
