Heerlijk bed, uitstekende service! Konden fietsen bewaakt neerzetten. Koffie op kamer van Lavazza. Prima douche. Zeer ruime kamer (formaat balzaal), wel vrij donker, maar voldoende en sfeervolle verlichting. Hotel is ook ventraal gelegen. Met andere woorden: alles zeer goed.

Het hotel, ondergebracht in een prachtig gerestaureerd en perfect onderhouden historisch pand naast het stadhuis op het gezellige marktplein van Bergen-op-zoom ademt klasse. De kamer en het hele hotel trouwens is stijlvol ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort (tot broekenpers toe ...). Het personeel is hartelijk en zeer voorkomend. En het ontbijt is super-de-luxe .. tot bubbels toe. Prijs-kwaliteit is dit hotel zelfs zeer schappelijk te noemen. Het in-house restaurant is wel vrij prijzig, maar conform zijn status met 14,5/20 op Gault-Millau. Maar als alternatief zijn er een aantal zaken met een goede brasseriekeuken vlakbij op het plein.

Een zeer goed verblijf gehad in Bergen op Zoom in Grand Hotel de Draak. We hadden een mooie en ruime kamer in een zeer fraai gebouw. Vooral ook heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel! Echt een top ervaring. Prachtige ligging midden in het centrum omringd door restaurants en dergelijke.

The location is great, the room design is also great, the beds and pillows are good. However, i had two things in my booking (through their own webpage) queen sized bed and air condition. When i got to the hotel i got, what they called, "an upgrade" so i got a suite at the top with a comfortable 30 degrees indoor and an air-condition that was blowing outside air aka, a wall mounted fan. The night guy was really friendly and offered me 00:25 a room with a functioning AC but no queen sized bed. Second night i got a room with AC and a queen sized bed, but the AC stopped working with the outside temp got to 25, then it just shut down and the room got hot and humid again. I paid an extra $25 to get a queensized bed and when i went to the front desk and demanded a refund or a voucher they kept their line saying i got an upgrade of my room and was not eligible for a $20 (out of a total 200-250$). They however did refund me the $20 when i compared the upgrade from a rental car if you order a compact car but get a Rolls Royce with three wheels; in theory its an upgrade but you still want to be able to ride the car. It is a shame for the hotel, everything else was great and they would have gotten away with it if they at least showed some interest in customer success management.

Beautiful old hotel centrally located in Bergen op Zoom. Situated right at the square, you don’t have to travel far to see the sites. The rooms are very quiet and for an old building surprisingly spacious. Above all, the staff is helpful snd very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Ein Hotel am Markt mit dem Flair der Jahrhunderte. Und das ist positiv gemeint. Nicht nur von außen ein schöner Anblick. Auch der Innenbereich ist geschmackvoll restauriert bzw. eingerichtet. Supertolles wenn auch nicht ganz billiges Frühstück. Außenterasse mit Blcik auf den Marktplatz. Zimmer funktionell eingerichtet. Betten komfortabel. MIt Klimanlage und kleinerEspressomaschine. Grosses Badezimmer. Schöne Hotelbar. Viele restaurants in der direkten Umgebung

Het hotel en het personeel waren zeer goed zowel receptie,personeel ontbijt. Het enige waar ik niet blij mee bent is dat een ander gezin compensatie van het ontbijt en parkeer kosten niet hoefde te betalen en wij vrijdag en zaterdag ook last hebben gehad van iboza en dat we ook ons beklag hebben gedaan. Is er nog een of andere compensatie mogelijk ? Want dit klopt niet.

2de maal dat we dit hotel bezoeken in het hartje van Begen Op Zoom. Prima hotel, mooei rustieke kamers, ontbijt top, onthaal prima en door het event IBOZA was er erg veel lawaaihinder. Mevrouw aan de receptie heeft dat mooi opgelost door ons naar achteraan het hotel te verhuizen. Waarvoor ik heel dankbaar was. Ik vermoed dat voorlaatste weekend er altijd het event IBOZA doorgaat op de markt van Bergen op Zoom, om rekening mee te houden, is een openlucht discotheek tot half een 's nachts. Het hotel en de sercvice/hulpvaardigheid van het onthaal is een aanrader.
