Muen Yuan Dong Hot Spring Hotel

The hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent location, right next to Tangweigou Park and the night market. Overall, it's a budget-friendly option. While the room and bathtub are spacious, there's a lack of space for furniture like tables and chairs, and no wardrobe or hanging space. The cleanliness is just average; it feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

This was my first time staying in a family room for four at the newly renovated Mu'en Far East. It's a compact setup, and they provide large bath towels, but the small towels are disposable. There are no other disposable amenities. Inside the shower cabin, you'll find Upra's shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, which I was very happy with. However, water tends to accumulate at the bathroom door after showering, so the drainage design could be improved. The hot spring tub is a bit high, which might be challenging for older guests to get in and out of. The breakfast selection was extensive and very satisfying. Each person received a set of cutlery wrapped in plastic film, but the plates had to be reused. The hotel's location is in the heart of Tangweigou, making it super convenient for an evening stroll.

The hotel service was excellent. They were very accommodating, allowing us to check in an hour early as we were traveling with elderly family members. The breakfast spread was also plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended to all!

The accommodation and facilities were excellent, and parking was very convenient. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, ensuring everyone could find something they liked, which made for a very enjoyable meal with my friends!

The service was friendly, the room was spotless, and the location was excellent. The breakfast was delicious too. My only regret was that the hot spring spa area was unfortunately closed for maintenance. However, the private in-room bath was a wonderful alternative.

I've been coming here for hot spring sessions in winter for three hours at a time, and I've brought family and relatives to stay nearly 20 times. They've even upgraded my room occasionally! The location is fantastic, right by Tangweigou, making it incredibly convenient to buy my mom's favorite Red Heart Guavas and Yishunxuan pastries, as well as Yilan's special preserved fruits. We always leave with a full haul of local delights! My only minor complaint is that the spa pools are closed for cleaning on Thursdays, but as a frequent guest, I'm well aware of their schedule. The breakfast is, without a doubt, the best and most extensive among nearby hot spring hotels (excluding five-star options). It features a wonderful selection of specialty dishes from across the entire Yilan region. I will definitely be back for another stay!

1. I asked for an invoice but was told they couldn't provide one because I booked through an online platform. Last month, I stayed at Mu En International (part of the same group), and even though I also booked and paid online, the front desk gave me an invoice. 2. The bathtub stopper in room 708 leaks. It takes at least half an hour to fill the tub only about 60% full. 3. The in-room air conditioning is a central system. To turn it on or off, I have to call the front desk and ask staff to do it, instead of having a direct switch in the room. 4. My stay at Mu En International last month was excellent. This time at Mu En Far East, it was truly awful. I won't recommend Mu En Far East to friends in the future. The experience was just terrible, and the front desk lady's attitude when I asked about an invoice was incredibly poor.

Breakfast offered excellent value, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing.

I used to visit Hotel Mu'en often, but this time I felt that the service quality and breakfast have declined significantly! It no longer offers the same value for money as before. The soundproofing in the room is also very poor; you can clearly hear people talking in the hallway. Next time I go to Jiaoxi, I probably won't choose Hotel Mu'en again.
