Cons: 1. No razor provided in the room. I had to call to ask for one, which is ridiculous for an InterContinental hotel. 2. Limited breakfast selection. No one to seat guests, and some even had their tables taken by others after they went to get food. 3. In the morning, tourist buses completely blocked the hotel entrance, making it impossible for cars in the parking lot to leave. Not sure how the hotel manages its parking. 4. I had already called the front desk to arrange a 2 PM late check-out, but the housekeeping staff just swiped their card and entered my room shortly after 12 PM. 5. The welcome oranges had clearly been sitting there for days; they were all shriveled up. Putting aside the cons, the environment and room design are quite good though! 👍🏻

The room was spacious and bright, and I had a very comfortable stay. The staff always greeted me, and the room key card was beautiful enough to keep as a souvenir. Overall, it was a great experience and a good choice for landing in Yining.

Extremely disappointed with this stay. Firstly, the hygiene was terrible. There was dirt on the floor from who knows where, it was so obvious. A 5-star hotel's hygiene standards shouldn't miss such clear dirt. Secondly, as shown in the picture, the area above the sink looked like it hadn't been repaired or painted yet. And there were other detailed hygiene issues that were just unbearable. The bathtub had plenty of hot water, but when I went into the shower, absolutely no hot water came out, which was incredibly frustrating. I had to tough it out and take a cold shower. Paying over a thousand for a room, only to find basic mistakes everywhere. I don't know if I paid for service or comfort, because I got neither. InterContinental hotels abroad are a bit pricier, but staying there is truly an enjoyable experience. I chose this brand for such an important occasion because I trusted it, but the result was just awful! It was a slap in the face at every turn, truly disappointing.

The room decor is quite new, and the view outside the window is beautiful. The room was clean, and I was very satisfied with the bed and pillows. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, and some items like the steamed buns were a bit hard. However, the staff provided excellent and very enthusiastic service.

The hotel's location is quite good; it's very close to Yili River for sunset views! 👍 All rooms face south with beautiful window views, and you can even see the snowy mountains 🏔! Breakfast was very plentiful and fresh! 👍 My mother caught a bit of a cold during our stay, and Manager Leng from the restaurant brought her millet porridge. They met all our special dining requests, which we greatly appreciated! 🙏

Five-star review! The front desk staff were really friendly and the room was spotless. We arrived quite late and ordered room service for dinner, which totally exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was not only delicious, but the plates were also beautifully presented. Plus, there was a lovely lady from Xinjiang who introduced us to local Xinjiang cuisine and even helped make us milk tea!

Huge thanks to the hotel staff for preparing such an amazing and surprising stay for me and my husband! The pre-arrival call, the surprise gifts, the traditional Xinjiang outfits, the delicious American-style cuisine at the restaurant, the rich cultural presentations... everything made me feel the warmth and beauty of Xinjiang! It was a truly heartwarming experience. ❤️❤️

This hotel is the best in Yili! The room is spacious, and you can see the Tianshan Mountains and the Ili River right from your window. The breakfast perfectly balances Xinjiang specialties with typical five-star hotel offerings.

The front desk staff were proactive in their service, contacting me a day in advance to ask about my needs and offering a complimentary upgrade, which was very thoughtful. The hotel facilities are new and stylish, with many Instagrammable spots, perfect for photos. The buffet restaurant on B1 offers a wide variety for both breakfast and dinner, but it lacks some local specialties like 'guoyou mian' or minced meat noodles. The beverage selection could also be improved.
