Stayed on June 18, 2022. It is located in front of Yonezawa Station, but it is a location that feels like walking from Yonezawa Station 6 and about 7 minutes. It is not a far feeling. The indoor facilities are stable Toyoko Inn. However, since April, gowns and amenities were not set in the room. I felt like I went to the room with each one from the front desk. Disposable slippers also became the form of purchase at the front desk. If you don't care, there is a shared slipper for indoor use. Still, I think it is a hotel worth enough to say from the room rate.
A town that is not popular and inconspicuous, fifteen minutes is enough to circle the town for a week. It was a superb hot spring tour. The hotel's room has been remodeled, the standard room is similar to the domestic Samsung, the bed and bedding, the bathroom is relatively old. Because only two people travel, booking a larger room is a bit reluctant. It is estimated that three or four people will order a room together, which is expected to be better. Hot springs! Very good! The washed hair of the spring has been smooth for a week. Soak in the semi-open hot springs, look at the night sky outside at night, and look at the snowy mountains opposite in the morning, so beautiful! Breakfast is also a standard and style meal, exquisite and rich. There is a rushing river in the village, the only open udon noodle shop, the only tofu shop, and the only grocery store, which is very interesting. This hotel, which was booked by name and a photo of a hot spring, turned my adventure into a small fortune. like very much!
A traditional Ryokan continues the tradition and the nature with the concept of "a hundred-year-old Ryokan with hot springs where protects the tradition for the future."
I was wondering if it was more despised because it was a secret hot spring, but the clean rooms and the hall were well cleaned. I was also happy that seasonal flowers were displayed here and there. I am looking forward to the bath, and it is as wonderful as I expected! Especially Takiyu is comfortable to get rid of the stiffness of the body, and the open-air bath that flows directly from the source is also the best. It was good to have a family bath and a stone bath freely without making a reservation with my family. I was wondering if the meal was reasonable, but the Japanese-style Yonezawa beef pottery plate grilled and wild plant tempura were delicious. Especially, the rice was delicious and I wanted to refill it.
I was not good at carp dishes and had them serve alternatives. It was a sashimi platter instead of carp arai and Yamagata Imoni instead of Kanroni. It was delicious. I enjoyed the nearby liquor store with various assortment. Shirafu Otaki was also nice.
Warm hospitality. I would like to visit again.
The room was small but clean, and there was a big supermarket next to it, although it was not a duty-free shop, but the price was beautiful. It’s only a few minutes from the Yonezawa station to the hotel. There is nothing to eat around. It’s not too far to go to the station to eat. Breakfast is free, not very luxurious but also clean and fresh. The hotel has free coffee and ironing machines.
I had a chance to visit with my relatives. I have been to Onogawa Onsen several times, but this was my first time at this inn. When I first entered, I was greeted by a large bell. There were various bells of different sizes next to the front desk, which explains the concept of this inn. The meals were all local Yamagata produce. Yamagata dashi, Yonezawa beef, etc. Nothing to complain about. The temperature of the open-air bath felt low, but after they replaced the water, it didn't feel that low. The staff were also very friendly. Overall, this is an inn that gives a high level of satisfaction.
As for the room, the accommodation price was cheap and I was not dissatisfied because it was an old building. There is no dissatisfaction with the taste at the breakfast buffet. The miso soup had no miso taste and I didn't know which dish was from. I was very confused. I wanted you to think about the arrangement of the vessel and the dishes.
I stayed here after watching Youtube. The Olympic bath is long, like a swimming pool. I secretly went for a swim when no one was around and went back to my childhood. The quality of the hot spring water was also good. The open-air bath along the river had a great view, so I took a long bath. The inn is old and undeniably old, but if you look at it from a different perspective, you can feel the wabi-sabi atmosphere. The menu was made with local ingredients and was unique, so I was able to enjoy it and enjoy it. I would like to make a reservation when I visit Yonezawa again.

Uesugi Shrine
翱翱翔的大鲨鱼The "Uesugi Shrine" located in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture, is a representative shrine in the Tohoku region. It was built by deifying great men. The two main gods enshrined in the "Uesugi Shrine" (うえすぎじんじゃ) built in 1871 are "Uesugi Kenshin", who protected the "Echigo Domain" throughout his life, and "Uesugi Takazan", who defended the "Yonezawa Domain". When you come to the solemn and peaceful "Uesugi Shrine", you can first absorb negative ions under the groups of cedar trees, and then visit the main hall and other small shrines. If you have time, you can visit the small museum "Keishoden" next to it. The exhibits are almost all authentic. The two elders of the "Uesugi family" are like great heroes, so this meaningful shrine can be said to be the Guan Gong Temple for the locals.
