Wingate by Wyndham Williamsburg

Great location, close to the outlets!

This place appears newly renovated. We were very please on the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. Our beds were comfortable. It was quiet.

The hotel was nice and clean. Pool was good but no hot tub. Breakfast was fair but cocoa and coffee was to weak

Very accessible, clean, easy check in and out, amble parking and close to restaurants. We stayed for an overnight stay while traveling

This hotel has been renovated except for the bathrooms. The tub had paint drips all over it. Cleanliness is a definite issue with this property. The tub was filthy as well as the toilet. The bathroom door had a white substance ‘splashed’ all over it, it was clearly not cleaned. There was hair in the sheets. The body wash and shampoo were empty. We asked multiple times for refills. The front desk just gave us one travel size shampoo for 4 people. 2 of us have long hair. Just didn’t suffice. We opted out of housekeeping for our stay as I didn’t feel like it would have been good. The beds are very comfortable and the tv was huge. The breakfast was sub-par. The food was very low quality. The scrambled eggs were very watered down powdered eggs. The menu did not change for the 6 days we were there. The coffee was even watered down. The weekend we were there we had loud banging at our door with the person running away. We assumed it was one of the kids from the sports teams that was staying at the hotel. The pool was gross. It had things floating in it. It was very busy with all the kids splashing around. The location is great with many restaurants close by.

Hotel has been updated, but in a cover up kind of way. For instance room decor us updated, but pain is sloppy in bathrooms. Elevators look like they are in a old scary movie. We were disappointed with the breakfast and ate out instead. Staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. Even though the AC/heat unit was old, it functioned well. I enjoyed the windows opening. I wish there were full curtains to block the light.

My stay at Wyndham was perfect and the staff was very friendly with great personality. The facilities were very clean and we will be returning soon.

Everything was great. Saw reviews prior in regards to hotel being renovated, my room was fine and had no issues.
