Extraordinary experience and exceptional service. This is a really special place, away from the city, with nature and great hikes. The dinning experience 1/2 board is an outstanding culinary experience. This was the best place and Japanese experience of our trip.

Amazing service, food, and views. Beautiful night views. Very relaxing and quiet. Lots of privacy and attention to detail. Food was exceptional. Lots of delicious seasonal specialties presented in artistically. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful. Perfect for Japanese foods connoisseurs. Probably best for travelers familiar with Japanese culture and foods.

This place is an absolute treasure. Driving to the place was an afford as it was through a winding road. Upon arrival, service staff were quick to assist with luggage. Check-in was thorough and simple to understand. The female staff assigned to us was very friendly and helpful. The kaiseki dinners were fantastic. Perhaps I am not a fussy eater, I find that all the food was delicious. On the 1st night, I put on the kimono 👘 & asked the staff if I did it right. Immediately, she got me back into my room & helped me with the kimono. In less than 5 min, she was done. Remarkable. The public bath had an indoor and outdoor section. Though small, I liked it because there was no crowd when I visited it. It is situated very near Yoro Waterfall and the park so it is a good place to go walking/hiking. Breakfast spread was good and sufficient. No complaints. The room was wonderful, with the bath facing Nagoya city and I could see stars in the sky at night. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay with this ryokan.

Not cheap, but definitely worth the money! Next to Yoro Waterfall, at the foot of the mountain is Highway 56, which is Yoro Park and many yakiniku restaurants. The drive up is a small mountain road. The road condition is not bad, so it is no problem to drive slowly. The scenery near the hotel is amazing, especially during the red leaves season! There are not many rooms in the hotel, only about ten rooms, so the facilities can be almost exclusively used. I went to the public hot springs twice and only I used them. The meals were delicious, and we also prepared small rice balls for late night snacks in the room, which was very considerate! The staff spoke good English and the service was very good. It was a very satisfying experience!

Yuki no Sato is by far the best hotel I have stayed. Me and my friend at first just want to spend a night in a traditional Japanese Ryokan(旅館). Then we came across this one in ********** and immediately in love with it. I drove there all the way from Kyoto, with a stopover in Hikone along the Biwako Sazanami street. It was a really relaxing drive. The hotel offers a very nice Kaiseki dinner and breakfast inside a private room. It also has an outdoor Onsen for the visitors. Unluckily, it was raining in the next morning and we couldn't go to the Yoro waterfall. I really would love to stay in here again next time. P.S., I couldn't reply to the hotel's messages because I was driving and didn't check my email. I am very sorry and because of this, I think the hotel staff didn't know when to prepare our accommodation. 申し訳ありません.

Every corner of the building, from the rooms to the baths, was spotless and clean. The view from the rooms, lobby, and baths was of the Nobi Plain, and the night view was especially beautiful. The meal was a delicious Japanese banquet featuring Hida beef, and I was very satisfied. The accompanying pickled gourd was delicious, and I bought it as a souvenir, as it is said to be a local specialty.

Perhaps this was to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, or maybe it's just a matter of tradition, but all the hallways were either tatami mats or carpets😃. Therefore, I received an explanation that ``slippers will not be used.'' I decided to wear one-size-fits-all socks instead. When I returned to my room, I never took off my socks. So I ended up going straight to the tatami room. This meant walking around in slippers, returning to the room, and then going up to the tatami room in the slippers, so it felt weird. Doesn't each standard 10 tatami room have an open-air bath like the photo catalogs on the internet? 😁 ``Even if we can't meet your request...'' is a conviction. Everything else was generally good.
