During my weekend stay at the hotel for a wedding, the experience was overshadowed by a persistent problem with our room key. Without fail, every time we returned to our room, we faced the inconvenience of a malfunctioning key, forcing us to trek back and forth to the lobby for replacements. Shockingly, instead of offering any form of assistance or compensation for the inconvenience, the staff simply handed us new keys and waited for us to report back on their effectiveness. This utter lack of proactive service left us feeling frustrated and thoroughly disappointed with the overall experience. In addition, they charged our purchases to another family members room. Even after telling the staff to please charge things to the PROPER room. The hotel's inability to manage basic tasks, such as ensuring room keys work and accurately charging expenses, reflects a concerning lack of attention to detail and customer care.

We stayed in a cabin which was very easy to find. It had a beautiful wooded view with 2 outdoor rocking chairs and a small table on a private balcony. The cabin has rooms on upper and lower levels accessible by stairs. It was an average room with typical hotel amenities. There were no signs indicating where each room was located. Other people were looking for their room number the same time as us and we all walked up and down stairs to figure out the location of each room. The door was difficult to lock and unlock from inside. The bathroom need attention: Hair on the floor, the tub did not drain, and loose floor tiles. We did not explore the properly but it looked beautiful.

Great location with activities on site. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s an older hotel so don’t expect new rooms. But rooms did have a lot of space.

This place is fabulous. Authentic. Beautiful wood and stone buildings. Gorgeous lounge with open log fire and views over the Smoky Mountains. Staff superb- friendly, helpful and efficient. Room lovely - spacious, comfortable, balcony with rocking chairs! Bed comfortable. Bathroom beautiful. All you need and more - fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toiletries, etc. Lovely pool area indoors and out. Beautiful golf course. Great walks. Food in bar area was good, and reasonably priced. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

This was a weekend getaway with my wife for our 40th Anniversary. The hotel was great. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was great. The dining room had excellent food and the service was great. All the staff we encountered were friendly and polite. We will definitely be going back.
