Jacky's is the place for me as someone who has very limited understanding of Chinese. Moreover, many of the older villagers can't speak Chinese anyway. Jacky is a native of this place. He arranged arrival and departure for me and helped with luggage. Please be aware that you will be in a very rural and once remote part of the country, so don't expect luxurious surroundings. If you are squirmish about mud, dirt and animal droppings, well, get used to it and enjoy one of the wonders of human effort and creation. Facilities: The B&Bs here are all independent two- or three-story buildings. The family room we booked is very large and well-equipped, with a sofa, coffee table, and mahjong machine. It was a pleasant stay in Hua wowo hotel. Air quality was super good there. It was the best place for watching the sunrising in the yard or in the room of the hotel, very nice view. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a quiet place for holidays. Hotel restaurant offered local planted vegetables and local raised fishes from the terraces. The owner and other staffs of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We will choose the same hotel if we visit again.

I had an amazing stay in this hotel, the location is perfect, there's a nice spot to catch sunrise two minutes from there, room were clean and one of the most comfy I've been to, great bathroom with hot water and a lot of water pressure. The owner is super nice and helpful and speak well English and they also have a restaurant with delicious food!

The bedding and shower in the room were beyond my expectations. There was also good night milk in a thermos can and sent to the room, which was considered thoughtful. The breakfast rice noodles were great and worth trying. Yiqiutian Inn was newly opened in August last year. The facilities are very modern and the decoration is also good. It is especially clean and hygienic. The proprietress and the boss are very enthusiastic and responsible. They helped us upgrade the view room so that we can see the terraced fields outside from the room. They came and went to help us carry our suitcases upstairs. When we left, they also enthusiastically gave us red rice. They responded to our needs in a timely manner and provided relevant information about going out to see the terraced fields, which saved us from unnecessary detours. It was a very good stay experience. The Yuanyang Terraces are really beautiful and this trip is very worthwhile. Thanks to the boss and the proprietress for their enthusiastic service. The dishes cooked by the proprietress are also very tasty.

The hardware and software of the B&B are very good. My room has a large window where I can see the scenery and observe the weather. The B&B has a good place to dry clothes. We ate almost all three meals at the B&B. It was delicious and the price was OK. The best thing is the enthusiastic tour guide service provided by the boss. Just like the message from the previous hotel guest, the boss will teach us how to get around and play (most of us walked, not chartered a car). In case we get lost, the boss will personally guide us He took us for a long walk, went deep into the village, and took a closer look at the culture and landscape. A very distinctive B&B with an excellent location. It is very close to Azheke Village and overlooks the terraced fields from a high place. The room is spacious, bright, clean and comfortable. The lady at the front desk also upgraded me to a loft for a better view of the terraced fields. The downside is that there are too few sockets in the living room of this room type and I can't find a socket to boil water. Because the room has a very high ceiling and a loud echo, the voices and music from the next door are very clear, but I can feel that they are very attentive. After all, it is not easy to run a B&B in the mountains. The B&B has a restaurant with reasonable prices and delicious food. You can also wear Hani and Yi costumes for free to take pictures. There are also local specialties such as red yeast rice and terraced field black tea for sale.
