The breakfast staff do a phenomenal job - she was so positive and a bright light! But the best was the check-in guy named Matt -- he went above and beyond to answer our questions about the area, help us with some logistical problems with our jeep and a storage issue, and I noticed him helping another lady, she had a cane and Matt went out of his way to get her change for laundry. All 4 of us commented the beds were the best on the whole vacation. We didn't need the kitchenette but it was totally stocked -- this is a great hotel except for the pool area which is really sad and dirty and the spa is closed. One morning front desk worker was rude but the manager fixed her mistakes. But it was Matt who made it a 5 star experience -- he had a ”can-do” attitude & made sure we had everything we needed, plus some! We can't stop telling people how much he helped us make our stay in Joshua Tree the best it could be. The hotel is next door to a great all-night authentic fast Mexican food, highly recommend!

Although when I booked the room, I said that I would be coming in late, actually make it to the motel earlier than planned. Clerk noted this obviously having looked at who was coming in for the day. Clerk was courteous and even gave my party rooms across from each other without even being asked. Room was clean and better than I expected for the price. Breakfast was a little better than a continental breakfast but the food was good and abundant. My friend said that the coffee was very good. (I do not drink coffee.) Very convenient location to Joshua Tree National Park. We would certainly come back to this hotel!

The room is clean and perfect. The hospitality was very good. Restaurant meals are expensive. This time it is a hotel where I want to stay with my family.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the price! Room size was great. Large, king size beds. Clean room. Very close to Joshua Tree National Park. The only negative was that the pillows were skimpy and they only provided 2 per bed. Bring your own pillow, or get some extras up the road at Dollar general, like we did, for an inexpensive fix to this minor issue.

The hotel is old, and the health conditions are OK. There are many swimming pools and soaking pools which are the biggest two points, but there are no ready-made bathing suits. Temporary bathing suits bought in hotel malls are expensive. There are a lot of parking spaces, and there are a lot of companies built by the conference group on weekends. Although I had my order when I checked in, the two-day order I received showed him two rooms on the same night, and the person who looked like the manager at the front desk communicated with the agent using his slow network. It took me forty minutes to arrange my room. But in the end stayed smoothly. The surrounding area is not far from the fast food concentration area, and it is easy to refuel. In the desert mountain Ole, the west gate of Joshua Tree Park and the center of Palm Springs, only 40 minutes away from the west gate of Joshua Tree Park is a good place to rest. The price is decent.

It was near Joshua Tree and the scenery was full of nature and I was able to enjoy my stay. The trailer house was very clean and new and comfortable as a normal hotel. On a cold day, I was able to cook 々 like a grill in the microwave oven, and it was good that I didn't have to go out. One difficulty was that the sound of the air conditioner was very noisy and it was about to wake up.

Onsen is a beautiful place to stay! The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout each interaction. The room was well presented, clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The shower caters to tall people - 6'4” tall and easily able to stand under the showerhead. The pool and spa were great for relaxing the aches after a day of driving. Would absolutely recommend Onsen to anyone staying in the area.

Come to Joshua Tree and want to fully experience the desert scenery. It is absolutely right to choose this cool motel! Although the surface looks broken, the internal facilities are very good and tasteful!

I really loved this place! It was VERY peaceful, which is often hard to find. The waters were lovely, the staff was nice, and other guests were respectful. The room was also simple but nice and comfortable. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars, is because they need to update the bathroom. There was no extractor fan and I couldn't open the window (not sure if that was my error or by design). Understandably, there's a lot of water around (!) so that led to a dampness problem in the bathroom. If they could put an extractor fan in and do some updates that would solve everything. Everything else was so nice, I just wish they could update this one piece.
