2nd floor smells horrible! The 2nd floor hallway must have had a flood and didn't clean up well. It smells like pure mold! The room smells horrible as well, like you're in the hull of a dirty old boat l. We asked to be moved to the first floor , where it really didn't smell pleasant, but not bad. They said, "we are all booked up," with 3 cars in the parking lot. It's obvious the staff didn't even want to try to accommodate us. The room also had used rags left in it, I guess from the cleaning crew . I'm not sure they even finished cleaning the room at this point. Cleaninlness and customer comfort are not a priority here. In the past, we have had a great experience with this chain so far. I'm used to these being dependable for a good stay. I would stay clear of this hotel! I have nothing good to say about it or its staff, and that is just sad.

Was very nice close to door which was good as I had surgery on my knee so the room was perfect
