Hylla Vintage Hotel (LHW Group)

Came here for the famous tree. The public areas are among the top five in China's hotels, but the rooms are just average. Although they use high-end hardware like Gessi, the toilet flush is incredibly loud – enough to wake you up in the middle of the night. The bedding isn't great, there's no air conditioning, and the duvet felt a bit damp. The fan gave me a headache and was really noisy. The food was also quite mediocre. I'd say the view is the only thing worth the 4k. Minor incident: I left my makeup mirror in the room, and no one from housekeeping or reception notified me. I only realized it two days later and had to contact the hotel myself to have it shipped to me. A bit embarrassing, honestly.

Beyond the excellent surrounding landscape and lush greenery, the hotel's room facilities are quite ordinary. The service attitude is good, but it seems understaffed, leading to noticeable service shortcomings. High prices are acceptable, but the overall service needs to match. Breakfast is good, but dinner, for someone from Guangdong, was just average.

This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at in China. The hotel's facilities and overall ambiance are incredibly well-designed and beautiful. You could easily spend several days relaxing here without ever feeling bored, even if you don't step outside. The service is excellent, with staff who are attentive and enthusiastic. Everyone was great with the kids, especially the lady in the shop who often played with them. Breakfast was very extensive with a wide variety of choices. Dinner was also special, offering a rich selection of dishes, including many local specialties. We will definitely be back!

This hotel is absolutely wonderful, and what truly stands out is the exceptional service—so attentive and welcoming! The public areas are also stunning; every corner is picturesque. And the food! The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the preparation is meticulous, and the taste is outstanding. I originally came here to hike the mountain trails and lose some weight, but I ended up eating so much that I gained two pounds instead, haha! I came for the beautiful scenery in the pictures, but the stay exceeded my expectations. From the decor and furnishings to the most unassuming plants and trees, every detail in the hotel was thoughtfully arranged. With the sunlight and clouds scattered over the distant mountains, every view from the courtyard felt like a painting. I heard from the butler that many of the furniture pieces and collections displayed in the public areas were specially sourced from Europe. It’s a wonderful hotel that deserves to be savored slowly. The staff provided professional and attentive service; whether it was the shuttle service or the porridge offered when my child was sick, they always went the extra mile for us. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the food quality was also excellent. We will definitely come back in a different season.

The Naxi stone and wood courtyards, combined with world-class vintage furniture, made it feel like staying in a retro art museum. Every photo I took looked like it belonged in a magazine. The room was spacious and bright, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the snow-capped mountains. Lying in bed, I could watch the 'golden sun illuminating the mountain' – it was incredibly therapeutic. I have to give a special shout-out to the service! The staff (both male and female) were enthusiastic and attentive throughout my stay. From airport pickup to check-in, everything was perfectly arranged. They were responsive to every request and incredibly thoughtful, treating guests like warm friends, making me feel completely at ease. The cultural steward even patiently explained the hotel's design and local culture, making the experience truly immersive. The creative local dishes at the Yanjiao Restaurant were super delicious, and the coffee bar had a great vibe. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, including hiking, yoga, and various handicraft workshops, all of which were incredibly interesting. With its stunning environment, beautiful design, and warm service, I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Lijiang! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality and warmth.
