First of all, thank you for hosting! Although the building has no lift, but he is so kind and helped me to carry my luggage all the way up to the room. The room is huge, just a bit tough in the morning because there are no hot water. Outdoor onsen was great. Please check out on time, the staff came in exactly at 10am. Sadly this trip I ran out of time, so next time when I visit here, Im gonna go 魚沼の里 and 雲洞庵, thanks for the recommendation from the hotel 😉

Elevators may not be common when old hotels are built. Take off your clothes immediately after entering the hotel. Shoes are not allowed anywhere in the hotel. The clerk is very friendly, but the hotel is a bit old. I booked this hotel through trip.com. After paying, I found out that the photo of the Yuzawa "Grand" Hotel was used for the hot spring facilities in the photos of the Yuzawa hotel on the trip.com website. About 10 minutes walk from the west exit of Echigo Yuzawa Station. There are convenience stores, liquor stores, bars, and restaurants along the way, so it's not inconvenient for shopping. It's a bit of a slope, so if it snows, it will be a little difficult to walk. Please note that carrying cases may also be difficult to pull. If you have time, there is a shuttle bus that goes nearby, so I think it's a good idea to use it. Although it is an old inn, I had a relaxing time without any problems.
